Strike up a conversation, get to know who you're helping before it ends up kicking you in the ass later and you end up making a thread about it here.

Even funnier, when I joined that party to let the "helpers" know about who they were helping, one of them was bitching about having to pay for their teleport. So not only was someone willing to help without so much as a please or thank you, but willing to pay to help them too. Dolts.

I've said it once, twice, even had it as a bazaar quote:

If you've ever knowingly given an RMT a teleport, a Raise, a powerlevel, the time of day, helped them in a mission or quest, joined and stayed in one of their parties, invited them into one of your parties, been a member of one of their linkshells, or worst of all, blatantly invited them into your linkshell, then your content ID and every single one linked to it should be permanantly banned.

There's no excuse for helping RMT. None. You can't justify it, and if you've done it willingly and knowingly, then you're the enemy of every legitimate player on the server. Period.

I get something like that just about everytime I cut through Korroloka. They say hi, and regardless of whether or not you respond, they ask for help with unlocking NIN. Sometimes I ignore them, but sometimes I watch while the leeches kill them. I might stop doing that though, because one of them told me "you bad man."
