I hate the dunes. People are just dumn, they suck at their new jobs. And when you try to give them constructive critisism, they just get all pissed at you. I mean whats wrong with them, for example, the whms wonder why they loose all their MP, it's cause they cast Cure II all the time. And it's not like it's all their fault. The 'Tanks' go with crappy gear, and most of the time they have no sub jobs. And once again when you try to give them advice they look at you like you dont know what your talking about. And when they try to fight pugs, you tell them that they can't handle it, but they still go for it anyways. and when the party is dieing you think to yourself "should i run, or should i go, they ARE idiots for pulling this, why should i die" but you stay anyways and die due to their stupid >_<

ok im done

The dunes is where the noobs go to die. Same with Qufim. My best friend who got me into this game told me this and it is true to an extent. Dunes is sort of a weeding out area for people who will only ever be occassional or recreational players. You know the sort who don't care enough to excel at a job or even get half good at it. Qufim is a continuation of dunes the Uber noob's though are usually eliminated by dunes before they get to qufim. Thankfully Qufim thins out the player population even more. Now when you get through the jungle, and get to lvl 32ish the worst noobism should almost be behind you. Get through the Citidel and all that should be left is the below average players the average and the Veteran players.

Yeah Dunes sucks blows and swallows in one fluid motion but we all have to go through it and we were all that noob at one point in time. (I personally pulled Valkurum Emporer to an exp party thinking it was just another Fly.) And really I just view those early levels as a sort of natural selection we all have to suck it up get abit drunk and go through it.

I either solo my jobs to 20 and start with the noobs in Qufim, or I solo to 16 and make my own parties in Korroloka Tunnel. Valkurm is completely optional, most people simply choose to suffer. From windy? Try the Maze out. Duo or trio with some linkshell mates, exp gain might not be what you'd see from a competent Valkurm party, but you'll have a lot less headaches - guaranteed.

Yes, this is true to a point. But there is a major diffrence between the intelligent ppl who make honest mistakes and are willing to learn, and the lobotomized idiots who are like "OMG!1!! I RED ThE BRadiE GiDE, I KnowZs WTf I m taKiNG AbouT U NUB!!1!1"

Technically, Cure II is mana equivilant to Cure I, if of course, the tank is down 90 points vs. 30 points.

Wrong; my game came prepackaged with every job at 75. Therefore, I was never clueless, I know all.

Your TNL at those lvls is so low that you don't really need a good party. Just suck it up and grind it out.

Yeah, I hate those fuckers that don't have subjobs before they can activate the quest!
