Why are you laughing? WoW's graphics (as in textures, smoothness, etc.) are superior to FFXI's. You may not prefer its graphical style, but that's a matter of opinion.

WoW is ugly. I own an active account for it, I like some cartoony games, but there is no way around admitting that WoW is ass ugly.

I WoW's reflection and lighting effects are much better than FFXI's, and so are the actual textures. You may prefer FFXI's style, but that's just you. I, myself prefer WoW for its environments. I like FFXI's character and armor models better, though.

I have the exact same feeling. Lighting in FFXI is kinda...meh. To be honest, you can't see it most of the time. But lighting in WoW is much more detailed and beautiful. Reflections, once again better. Now, I do agree that the character looks are bleh, but that's why Blizzard made trashcans...err helmets. Some faces just look awesome. Besides, the gameplay is what really matters. If you freak out at pretty decent graphics (want bad graphics? go check out runescape) and refuse to play a game because of that, then why are you playing this one(observe: EQ2)?

Oh, and those birds ruined whatever hope I had for playing a Blood Elf when the expansion is out >_> lol
