I've been at every window for the past 2-3 weeks and i haven't gotten 1 claim(got a few leech kings, but thats not what i'm there for). I really hate it when i see ppl come for their 1st or 2nd day and walk off with the amulet. Even worse, there were about 10 members from HNM ls camping it the past 2-3 days. The amulet better be worth it when i finally get it

lol is it worth it.. Damn straight it's worth it. +10 to Accuracy +10 to Ranged Accuracy. Good for RNG and other Melee, you'll be useing this from lvl 33 to higher levels. And since it's all jobs, it's also good for skill ups for mages and melee alike on those hard to hit mobs. It's also the only neck piece that has the highest + Accuracy (Correct me if I'm wrong here people)

But meh, those are just my opinions..

And are you slightly new to the game? Because you don't seem to know whats worth it or not o.O;
Hell +10 Accuracy goes in my book any day.

not new lol, just tired of it popping at the 11th hour of the 12 hour window for a bot to get it, or to get 3-4 leech kings in a row. I have seals, but don't have jobs that are accepted into the bcnm.

Is Peacock charm a good piece of equipment ?
Yes, probably one of the best if not the best.

Is it worth camping?
That depends on what you give up to do it. And, your luck probably :dontgetit

I know someone who camped THF knife, went like 0/51. He decided to just farm and make gil to buy one, because it seemed like it wouldn't take nearly as long. Some people got it while he was camping and managed to get it on first kill, that hurts. Argus is not a fun NM to hunt, if you have a RL I wouldn't reccommend it. It's nice ,but not a neccisity.

The BC accepts every job, it's all a matter of you finding a strat for your job.

I remember one camp, all of a sudden some guy (who had been still for hours) started running directly into a wall. So I made my way round to the direction he had been running, lo-and-behold Argus. Of course, it took a good many hours/claims before I finally got my PCA. ._.

pcc bcnm can be done with NIN, xxx/WHM, xxx/WHM
Basically, 1 person kites megaboss and smaller, NIN and xxx kill them one at a time.
It's just a ninjitsu burn anyways.

please go back to Titan forum, to Limica's thread and trash her for a bit, mk? I have camped this NM before the item went Rare/EX and failed to obtain it, I've borrowed one form a friend, and the Accuracy on it for a mages in skill up parties is wonderful.

You borrowed one, you didn't even go through the trouble to obtain it yourself. (put in some effort supposedly but didn't get one)


So how would you know if it's worth camping for or not? If you have no life then possibly it could be worth it to you, because you lose nothing else. Or if you're good at it or lucky then more power to you. But, if you're standing in the bottom of Shakrami for hours and hours on end, I'd imagine there could be something else better for you to do.

Personally, i feel there are better ways to obtain it.

Personally, I wouldn't camp it, I just don't have the time. But if someone has the time, it's definitely worth it, considering the god-awful drop rate in BCNM40.

But eh...nowadays, it might be easier to buy, since everything is so cheap now.

id say farm the money for it, lol... take that 12hr window and get stuff...
every day? 12hrs? 2-3 weeks? thats 168-252 hrs o.O.... you know how much money you could get in that time?? well, depends on alot of stuff... but anywhere from a little to alot of gil
if you have the time to spend on camping it, you have the time to spend on camping some money NMs and farmign stuff... pcharms like what... 4mil? iono, its about that on my server (i think)

I just took a Chiv. Chain, never really noticed the ACC loss since I only do burn PTs.

Used windower script and when Argus poped it made Then spammed my nm marco

of course used camera trick so only claim it and i killed every mob the seconded they poped.
With TH4 i went 1/1 on PCA and 1/2 on leech king (the thf got the earring)
