Ok, Again: Are's Set.
Jobs: WAR, PLD, DRK & DRG.
Other than that everything looks to be coming together pretty well. Keep up the good work.

YRPaine :
lol your nin was doing 10 dmg per hit to the final boss, wtf you think a useless pup is gunna do
it'd be more of a waste of time to unlock them
i repeat, lolpup
Chocoburger :
Winner of tardtacular proportions.
Anyway, I did Bhaflau today, was pretty fun, we made it to what appears to be the last boss, and he raped us in seconds. It used a move called Homing Missile and it did anywhere from 300-1,250+ damage to all members and its not blinkable. His defense was extremely high as well, my NIN75 using katanas were doing less than 10 damage per hit, I didn't notice its HP dropping much, if at all. Hes pretty rough, but there might be a way to weaken it considerably, just haven't quite figured that out.

No, you are retarded. PUP does more weapon damage than any non-MNK job while bare-fisted, thanks to MA 3 (guess what? All the other DDs besides monk hav C in H2H too, but no MA! Must feel dumb to lolpup when they will be out hitting your sorry nekkid ass) and once JAs are unlocked they have a personal mage to Cure 4, erase, use WSes and everything else.

Just wondering, I went to Bhaflu Remnants yesterday and we got three drops. But the thing I'm wondering about is they all seemed to be tier 1 items. By tiers I mean general observation that all the items needed seem to follow the NQ > HQ > HQ2 look
Ex: Enyo's > Phobo's > Deimos's
Enyo's Cuisses
DEF:10 DEX+1
Phobos's Cuisses
DEF:16 STR+1 DEX+1
Deimos's Cuisses
DEF:19 MP+1% STR+1 DEX+1
Any idea on tier II/III?
Or do each have equally random chance of dropping?

wow ppl can't get it through their thick skulls that it doesn't really matter how much hand-to-hand you have at the start, as long as it's not 0. once you get things unlocked, pup would be useless compared to all other jobs that have h2h skill. there's more than 1 floor to salvages, and i wouldn't want a job that's only good on the first floor, when better drops come from higher floors. anyone that doesn't realize this must be in denial after wasting too much time and effort on pup.

Just got out from Bhaflau Remenants.
There's 5 floors total. On the 4th floor, there's Archaic Gear that teleports out if you don't kill them fast enough, and Archaic Gears, that's just like Archain Gear, only in a cluster. Didn't see them warp.
We also fought some Archaic Chariots.
At the 5th floor, we reached a big area with only 1 mob.
Got him to like 90% when we ran out of time ; ;
The drops were 2 Enyo's leggings, and 1 Nemain's sabots.

ok... stop... calling him thick skulled makes you a hypocrite
Yes there is more than just one floor to Salvage but the only way any of the other jobs will perform better (aside from monk) is IF they get weapons unlocked from the dropped items.
With a pre set time limit for any salvage every floor matters in the strategy.

We got 2 enyos leggings two from the same areas droped by the scorpins (they droped magic removable items and abilitys)
if you sneak/invis past bombs/crawlers/trolls and kill the 4scorpns then go back this floor is a joke h2h crap wont be needed mobs die from few tier4 spells/ws any decent blm can solo them lol they hit for 30-60 and sleepable
yarpaine does have a point about no one cares about your h2h and lolpups just get over it already with the pup/drg owns etc at salvage They dont unless you sucks and cares about first floor only its about being smart not just smachin stuff with your gimp h2h skill
as i said sneak/invis (with oils/powders) go kill 4 easy scorpins slowly and you will get alot of magic removable items at floor one then go back and finish them of they are too damn weak a blm can solo them <.> and they will drop weapons removable items that way you wont take 5min killing one monster with your lolwyvern and lolpup

Stop arguing about Pup, this isn't the Pup forum. Either post new information about Salvage or don't F***ing post at all. So far I count 3 seperate accounts of Neiman's Sabots dropping in Bhaflau Remnants and 2 seperate accounts Enyo's Leggings. So far all I've seen is
Bhaflau Remnants:
Enyo's Leggings
Nemain's Sabots
Anyone else care to confirm/add to any kind of a drop to any zone? So far it seems people are pretty much just doing Bhaflau.

Anu's Tiara
Edit, I have another Question.
How exactly does Salvage differ for groups of different amounts? Kinda hard to tell unless you've done so yourself. So heres to just throwing some stuff out:
* With 18 each mobs seemed to drop 6 cells on the first floor. 2nd floor was 2-3 and 6~ depending on mob.
* Mob difficulty.. honestly no way to tell that I can think of.. with 18 a wyvern was doing 40~60 hit a damage.. a monk with merits was doing 30~60 per punch. He died had to kite because of low life alot <_<; Measurements on HP I'm unsure of. ;x

I just tried this today at silversea... and either we are just totally unlucky or salvage totally sucks ass. When we got to the "boss" of the first floor (6 fomors that seem to be a pt) we had only gotten ONE weapon unlock and ONE magic unlock. We mostly just got a ton of chr/agi/dex/foot/hand unlock (and I really mean we got a ton of those, kind of rediculous). We never even got to the second floor (only one mnk..).
As a blu there was absolutely nothing i could do except sac pull the fomors, same thing with alot of other jobs, like the blms, smn, drk, etc. The rdms and other whm never got unlocked magic so they could never do anything either.
This would be alot more far if they gave other dd jobs atleast an F in h2h skill, as it is now, many jobs are going to be excluded.
And I call seriously bullshit on the "ringthree" retard who said you could unlock things without h2h jobs, as a 75 blu. I was engaged to enemies almost the entire duration of salvaged VERY rarely hit above 0(when i even hit, accuracy was terrible), criticals hit for 1-2. I would guess I did somewhere around 20-30 dmg in the total, same thing with all the other non-mnk/war/nin. At one point we had our mnk, war, and whm (and drg's wyvern) die, and the mob sat at 1% for about 5 minutes while it wiped the rest of us.

What do the gears do exactly? One of the members in my pt aggroed one of them on the 4th floor and it just tele'd out of there. I was thinking the more we aggro'd, the stronger final boss would be.

Adding to the list
Bhaflau Remnants:
Enyo's Leggings
Nemain's Sabots
Anu's Tiara
Hoshikazu Tekko (these dropped for us tonight too)
Some more thoughts
Each monster types seems to drop a specific type of gimp remover.
Bifrons- Weapons/Hit Points/Job Abilities/SJs
Crawlers- Stat restores
Scorpions- Magic/Job Abilities
Trolls-seemed like an even mix of all of the above
We focused primarily on bombs and then scorpions with a party of 12 (Pld/Drg/Drg/Mnk/Mnk/Mnk/Rdm/Blm/Blm/Sam/Whm/Brd) and were on the second floor inside of 30 minutes with no death and all our melees with weapons/mages with magic and most of us totally stat clear. The trick is to decide ahead of time who gets what restored first, and to lot/pass fast without bickering.
Second floor
For some reason I'm spacing on exactly who dropped what, but the path we took had an even mix of Flans, Trolls, and Scorpions. At some point in our progression through the floor we started getting armor drops, and then I DC'ed so that's it for me for this run.
It's not hard, and you don't need a certain job to do it, it's going to be very easy to use w-e you want once it's established what monsters are where on the map and whatr order they need to be killed in, just like Dynamis. Just be smart, bring au laits and RRers and dont' so it wth idiots.

sweet, we did get to the boss but only had like 7 min on the clock when we did. got it to a little below 80% i think. main issue was: need more /nin and need another healer in the DD party. rdms with /whm SJ also need the subjob unlock for that last bit. i could've helped -na, but i didn't have it. 12 people with right jobs and few restrictions can take down the boss.
we tried a couple gears on the... 3rd, i think, floor. they aggro magic and hit cloth-less mages very hard. not worth killing. they don't drop jack. bypass gears on 3rd and 4th floor unless someone can come up with new information that shows killing them is the way to go. head to 5th floor is so far what it's looking like... but why the 4th floor ones teleport is kinda weird and i want to know why.
that's about it.

We tried Bhaflau Remants with 9 and took the west door on first floor. Started killing Wamoura, which took forever with 1 DRG, 1 NIN, 1 MNK, 1 THF that only dropped head/neck, body and hands. First bomb we tried killed a few people then Firaga2'd the rest.
I guess at the moment its a lot of luck until it becomes more clear what mobs drop what medicines.

Pasting my LS's findings in Salvage today, just a crosspost from BG :
Aurik parsed what drops we got where, and along the way :
My advice if doing this zone, don't skip bombs, they're junk, when you kill one you're basically garunteed a weapon item. Once you unlock weapons, give it to ninjas first since they can dual weild and start DD tanking, then assort it to the other melee with MNK last/near last (obviously before other shitty jobs) , otherwise mnk will be tanking it. When done right, everyone that matters will have weapons within 5-10 minutes.
For spells we went WHM > RDM > WHM > RDM > before hitting the floor with the flans (floor3), I reccomend you don't do this (we won't do this same mistake), have at least 1x RDM and 1x BLM with spells, so you can gravity and nuke the flan, otherwise prepare for 10min flan fights.
Just go by instinct and don't go with retards like WHM who want weapons over melee so they can rest MP fast, or some stupid crap.
This is extremely fun, and I highly reccomend everyone to do it, all you people already flaming it without having stepped inside, save yourself the embarassment and just participate. Unlike lolcop dynamis, where the mobs aren't scaled to your weaknesses, the ones in here are. Some people didn't take much dmg for a while, mobs don't hit too hard, wamoura blaze spikes hit for 0, etc. SE aren't dumb and they knew what they were doing.
The first few times you'll probably be going around lost with your thumb in your bum, but that's ok since nobody knows what the "strat" is, but that's what everyone is finding out together.
(Lordwafik)
Ah we just came out of salvage and wow is it great! Everything scales accordingly, yes bombs still self destruct, but they're not gonna hit you for retarded amounts, or mpk everyone. We didnt use -that- many hi potions, because focusing on the right mobs will unlock things right away.
Killing bombs first gave us weapons/abilities/spellS? forgot, aurik will post more later as he parsed, then wamouras geared us up. Keep proceeding to the top, doing the same thing, some mobs will focus on stat boosters, some will focus on gear.
Do what I did and have Ventrillo open and one person announcing who can lot what. By the end of the run almost everything was freelot, but things like weapons we'd give to the ninjas first so they can keep hate, then freelot to the other melee (aside from mnks) , then the mnks took them when the other melees had weapons, so hate can be shared properly.
After you get even a few people their weapons, the thing becomes cakewalk. Get 1 whm spells, the thing is a joke, it's really fun and I highly encourage everyone to do it.
No more camping nidhogg for Dalmatica when you can do something much more fun and get something that outclasses it greatly.
We got this card on the third floor from the Triple Gear mobs
which did not go into this slot that we found on the same floor, in that picture you can read the text when you touch the slot
MNK hands off a flan, third flood.
5th floor boss.

The first few times you'll probably be going around lost with your thumb in your bum, but that's ok since nobody knows what the "strat" is, but that's what everyone is finding out together.

just a question..
I see many did Bhaflau Renmants and are always mentioning Scorpions.
We did Bhaflau too, took the West Path and met : Wamouras (small ones), Bombs, Trolls, Flans, Wamouras (grown ones) until floor 4 where Archair gears showed up. as a friend pointed out, they represented the "average" eco-system of Mount Zhaylom.
The thing i find weird is that @ floor1, in the huge room before teleport, both east and west paths converge but we got Wamouras and others ppl got Scorpions.
this means taking a path changes the "huge rooms" mobs too? not only those you meet on the way?
also, what kind of mobs did you fight in Zhaylom renmants then?

Opening one door locks you out the other, so it's possible that people got 1 set of mobs on their run that you didn't see due to the path locking.
Also I think it's bugged that Bhaflau's mobs are Zhayolm's mobs, and vice versa. There's an emergency maintenance going on right now which I suspect is fixing it. I highly doubt bhaflau has puddings bombs trolls etc
