I'm at 2-3 on CoP and can access it. So pretty sure it doesn't require you to be on any certain part.
Great camp, xp started to die down around 56, but it should be good until 57. I recommend going as /Nin, as the rare times you do get resisted you really won't have a chance at sleeping the Bat. I started at 54, moment I hit 55 the Bats apparently grew a few extra HP and my Quakes which were one-shotting them for 925 wasn't enough to finish em off.
Switched to Melon Pies instead of ginger cookies and it went back to normal. I get constant chain 5's, usually just rest to full after the first two kills and go from there. 700 mp helps also >_>
I should note that I half assed my gear, meaning no earrings, peacock charm in the neck slot, AF feet, seers tunic. Still had about +20 with food.

Hogie :
What spell were you using to 1 shot them here? The guide says use quake but clearly i was using Freeze and hitting 970's normal and depending on wether and day i was getting up to 1208!! (perfect storm though, double wether and day effect)
Do you have HQ Staff to what spell you were using also? If Gustav i was 1shoting almost every time once i through on Aquilo's Staff at 51. Im 56 now (gimp with no AF cuz i was creaming myself from the exp) and ive been using freeze since i got it, i still have tornado and quake... but i have no need to use them .
Ninja edit, i love your sig Vince =P

And for all you other BLM's, I don't know about you, but this is the first place that's really been viable for me to solo. I'm never getting resisted *knocks on wood again* and even when I do, the bats usually don't link the gob. Gustav Tunnel got me killed a LOT, so beware.

I was doing just fine with Quake, 966 every time. I also tried freeze, during double ice weather... and wouldn't break 900. Freaked me out the first two times that happened, since it didn't 1-shot the bat. I just gave up on that and stayed with quake.
And sadly I don't have HQ staves. Yeah I know, lolgimpBLM, but I've got much more money invested in my only 75 job that means a little bit more. So no, I'm not selling other things for HQ staves yet.
And I've got all my AF... minus the legs, I'm just too lazy for those. I hate coffers.
Oh, and the thing about Gustav, beware Fire weather. Happened to me a LOT there, and kept screwing my dmg up. Got me killed probably about 6 or 7 times before I said screw it and partied till 55.
-edit on two things- The only gear I'm really missing are the HQ staves, I've got decent gear all around everywhere else, and thanks for the compliment on the sig ^-^
-extra edit- Since I'm 56... and came down again to Pso'Xja to try again on windsday (Not gonna let bats rape me) I decided to try Burst.
It's worth the extra mp for a guaranteed 1-shot. 1006 every spell for me, with NQ staff.

Goblin's Bat (Goblin Foreman) - Newton Movalpolos
When i started here tonight it was taken so i came back a bit later. It was taken again so i figured i would find a new camp since ffxiclopedia said there was 12 spawn points for the Goblin Foreman
Camp 1: This is the camp said in the guide, it is by far the best camp since its easiest to get to and has a zone near by.
Camp 2: This camp didn't prove very good to me because of multiple agros and deaths (gogo RR earring). Still non the less possible to kill here.
Camp 3: My first camp originally (besides Camp 1 since it was taken) but after deciding to make this map, i went exploring. This camp is good and you do have a small area where you can stand and rest with zero fear of agro, just be very careful. I camped on the west side, but it seems the east would work also after further investigation.
Camp 4: Almost imposable to actually "camp" here, but there is a Beastmaster that spawns here that can be killed assuming all goblins in the area are facing away from you.
Camp 5: After finding this camp i stopped and didn't bother looking for anymore. You camp right behind a Bugbear Watchmen (they don't move or turn at all) and I actually made the map and wrote this post all while sitting at this camp with no invisible up. Make sure you stay as far South East as possible (almost climbing the wall a bit) as the Beastmaster does come fairly close to where you will be camping and a mob does wander close from the west.
Out of all these camps the best are definatly 1, 3, 5. After camping at 5 for a little while, i came to the conclusion it isnt the best place to camp because of such a very small chance for you to stand still. Camp 1 is by far the best, and camp3 is a close second.
Before moving to any of the camps besides Camp 1, i would suggest killing the bat at camp one at least once to ensure you can 1 shot them, without 1 shotting it could get ugly at any of the camps since you have absolutely zero running room. I one shotted them at level 57 with Tornado and Auster's Staff (AF gloves are a must i would think). You need to do roughly 1000-1020 dmg i believe since I had at least 1 resist bringing it to 1-5%.
Little background info. I'm a taru so i have high MP and INT, so at 57 this might not be for everyone. I have 708 MP and 72 +20-25 INT (depending on spell) so hopfully that will help a little bit with your decision.
Anyways hope this helps everyone!

This guide is amazing. Kudos to Akio for compiling it.
Just two things I'd like to add, though.
1.) It is REALLY worth it to take time out to get a Moldavite Earring, ESPECIALLY after 50, if you don't already have one. I'm a taru, and prior to it my AM spells would occasionally hit just slightly below the required HP. However, after the Moldy Earring, even slight resists weren't a problem. It makes your casting a LOT safer, and I highly reccomend it.
2.) Nalaon, I couldn't find it either >.< All I know about it was that it involves taking on Qiqirn Archaeologists (the RNG type) with NIN sub to absorb arrow shots (which apparently don't do that much damage anyway). Hopefully you can take it from there.
Ninja edit: After 72-73 you can go to Alzadaal Undersea Ruins and take on the Qiqirn Goldsmiths there. It's the exact same thing but with higher level rangers.

/rdm or /whm works just fine, Stoneskin and Blink are enough to kill a mob.
And no, do NOT take on the Qiqirn Goldsmiths, they're THFs and rape, the higher leveld RNGs in Alzadaal are Poulterers(sp).
As to fighting them, you basically buff up then use your highest tiered non-ga nuke > second highest > third highest and repeat, if you run out of MP or really need HP, Sleep it and rest a bit.

Hey folks- first of all excellent compilation of information by the OP.
Second of all, I've decided that I much prefer the idea of soloing as much EXP as I can with my current project, getting my BLM
up to a respetable level (currently 42). Gear wise a lot of what I have for RDM is going to assist me (Moldavite, Enfeebling, Morions when it comes to earrings; HQ INT rings the whole ride; you know the drill), and I have capped my magic casting merits at 5 enfeebling/3elemental. However, I saw a post above who mentioned that Castle Zvahl wasn't that safe or that good of a solo exp camp. Any other suggestions?
Also, Cape Terrigan doesn't sound too pleasant either ^^ Of course if its the best option no worries- I just don't have the luxury of setting a Home Point that far out in the boonies with my typical week on RDM (limbus, dynamis, sky events that will require me to mule gear and get where I'm going).
Again to the OP great job, and I look forward to hearing any and all advice for soloing BLM from 42-54 (Pso'jxa just sounds too good to question ^^).

Cape terrigan sucks. I can't recommend that place personally, I did it in a duo and it was still just nasty. Too many bunnies, they all link. Bring RR earring if you're still gonna try it, but be ready to die alot. The first place I found to actually be really stable was Pso'xja. For a Hume, even with the best gear you can get, Gustav Tunnel still will present some issues with the Fire Weather killing your Freeze damage just enough to link goblins with their pets. Made me sad.
My personal suggestion would be to go try the camp, I had good times and bad times at Castle Zvahl... Mainly BAD times in Cape Terrigan (talking like 5 reraise charges in 2 hours at most)... Bleh times in Gustav, and GREAT times in Pso'xja. If you can be patient, wait till then to solo. You'll freak out at the xp at 54 lol.

This is how I've been doing them. Unfortunately it takes too much mp to chain well. Sometimes I can make c1, but mostly it's c0... /sadpanda. Fairly basic gear, no hq staves, no torques (kill me now). Don't get resisted much at 67, usual course of action is thunder3, bliz3, fire3,thunder3, at which point i'm about 100mp or so and I drain/sleep/rest til about 200-250 and finish them. I guess like 600 or so mp total. Budget a little more for resists. Sleep isn't hard to land, but it does get resisted occasionally.

Yeah, this is late, but...
I know a lot of people say to PT until the 40s/50ish because BLMs are still in demand, but I seriously doubt I'd be able to approximate this sort of XP in a party in that level range.
That whole XP/hr is with no use of a ring whatsoever.
Also, on a totally different note:
I got lucky over the past 2 days and went 1-for-1 on both Shaman's Cloak and Moldavite Earring. I know conventional wisdom seems to be AF hat > Shaman's cloak for PTing because of the -enmity, but I'm going to be solo so enmity is all on me regardless. That being the case, is Shaman's Cloak (4 INT, 5 Elemental Skill) better than AF Hat (4 INT) and Black Cotehardie (2 INT NQ/3 INT HQ) for resist rates? Or is a 6/7 INT vs. 4 INT+5 Elemental Skill mix pretty much a wash? And I guess the same question for Moldavite Earring... is MAB better than putting INT in the same slot when not getting resisted is a whole lot more important than doing a little bonus damage?
Some of this stuff was glossed over unconvincingly in the OP but other than that I can pretty much only find advice for a normal PTing build by searching... not for solo.

Regardless of partying or soloing, Shaman's Cloak > AF Hat + Justacorps/Cotehardie. I found the elemental skill to be pretty valuable at that level, Shaman's should last you from when you can wear it to when you can wear a Black Cloak. Also, never, ever take off your Moldy once you ding 47, unless you're macroing in an enfeebling/dark earring for sleep/drain or something.

If you're overcamping/the low level in the party (also known as overcamping) then Shaman's would probably be better.
Otherwise, if your resist rates aren't bad, AF Hat + Coatehardie > Shaman's. Either way though, at that level it's not a GIANT difference.
Oh, and that xp/hr is epic. I didn't try soloing at that level though, found it too inconsistant, likely at another camp. Never tried Beaucedine. You'll see what I mean in Pso'Xja though. No party could touch that xp, period. Over 10k/hr with band, close to it without.

I was scared of Cape Terrigan cause of all the stuff about setting HP there and whatnot.
Only time I tried to exp there I went through Gustav Tunnel and ran into a dead end in Cape, warped and put seek up. >_>

I haven't been able to set my hp there because it's controlled by beastmen. Tonko tools in the rabbit free area make it safe though.

I got way too many links in the general vicinity of the outpost on those dang goblin's rarabs to make that even close to worthy. It was ok with a BRD to duo with, but I still linked too many times to make it great. Good job on gettin through there like that.

I didn't even bother with that camp. Go to the big ledge in front of it. There really is no completely safe place to rest, but I found the small protrudence by where the ledge drops down safe enough, as long as you don't drop your guard. There is a velociraptor there, but it never really was a problem for me, it tended to roam along the middle-upper area of the camp, whereas the goblin sits on the left (with no other companions to interfere except a few Hill Lizards). Also, if you pull too close to the ledge, Tropical Rabbits (or w/e they're called, it's been a while) can link. Goblin's Rabbits are very susceptible to bind; I only had to sleep it on the occasion when bind wore early and it wasn't near death yet.
All in all, the ledge camp makes it tolerable, but not the best camp by far. The reason why I soloed there is 'cause I don't have time in the day to party, so if you can get a party around that level, by all means go for it - black mages are still pretty desirable around that level. Once you hit 51, though, soloing exp cannot be beat.
