Game Background

Project Wiki is Webzen’s first Bright tone 3D Toon Rendered Casual MMORPG based on intense levels
of cooperative interactions between all the in-game environments. In Wiki’s Fantasy world,
each Instant Map (Tales Map) implies a theme of a Fairy Tale story giving users friendly image for easier approach.
By adopting both Instant world and Persistent world, Project Wiki conforms to different kind of users. Wiki promises to deliver a lively,
creative and interactive online game play experience in a whimsical and charming environment.

STORY

One entity binds time, space and dimension the World Tree.
By using the nutrition saved in the World Tree’s leaves you can travel to the past.
And everything you do in the past dramatically affects the present. But when time and space happen to cross each other,
Six Roots, the sons of the World Tree, are forcefully disbanded. Now the Six Roots want to reunite with the beloved World Tree and only you can help them find the path!

I. CIVILIZATION AND CULTURE.
The Wiki game play environment encompasses 10 unique civilizations, each possessing its own myths and legends.
Throughout the gameplay experience, characters embark on a number of quests and missions foretold through colorful tales.

II. EVOLVING CHARACTER.
Project Wiki incorporates an adaptive system enabling the decisions players make in quests and missions
to contribute to the individual personalities of characters, and their facial expressions.
In Project Wiki players are able to switch class by obtaining a certain title through Quests and Mission.
By Switching to an advanced class players get to equip advanced items and obtain
more powerful skills as well as visual changes, giving players new motivations.

III. EXTREME INTERACTION.
The Wiki world is a highly interactive environment for both playable characters (PCs)
and non-playable characters (NPCs) alike. NPCs will have varying degrees of preference for PCs an
NPC may lead one character to one mission and tip off another to a different quest all based on the NPC’s
particular level of affinity toward certain types of characters.

IV. POWER-BATTLE SYSTEM.
Through Hunting and Quests, players will be joining one of the two Powers.
The two Powers will be having an opposing objective providing player for continues competition throughout the game.
Not only against players but NPC’s and Monsters of each power will join the battle as well.
According to the player’s rank you will be able to carry stronger, powerful monster to the battle.

It does look like an online version of Wind Waker, though it doesn't take place in Hyrule and have a kid in green tunic.

Probably Nintendo will have a bigger beef about it if the MMO included the same facial expressions and battle system as Wind Waker. :x

But, it doesn't look like it would.

However, this is something I might try. The last cutesy MMO I've tried was ROSE Online.

Edit: Just saw the trailer. The facial expressions mimic Wind Waker very closely. o_o
When I saw the kid running with the sword and shield, I just thought myself: that reminds me of Link.

Oh damn... *hears Nintendo's lawyers at Project Wiki's doorsteps*

I approve of this MMORPG. I loved Wind Wakers graphics, and I would totally play this MMO

EDIT: I hope its more on the top breed of Pay to play MMORPG with constant updates, instead of the free to play games like Flyff.

Now this, this is the MMO I'd quit FFXI for. Not that Vanguard crap that's being pushed here like crack, this. Why? Cause it's different. And yes, it looks to feel alot like Wind Waker. Especially with how they make a noise when initiating conversations, with how they run, some of the monsters had that Wind Waker look... Nintendo better not screw it up for us.

That game looks absolutely fantastic. I don't think I'd quit FFXI over it, but I'd love to check it out at least. When it comes to MMORPGs, looks definitely don't make the game for me, put this is the first one where the looks piqued my interst like this. I gotta know more about it, the general atmosphere, class and race selection, graphic load, price point, you name it.

(It DOES look a lot like Zelda: WW. They should put it on the Wii so I have something to do in between Fafnir windows <3 )

to the two that said you'd quit 11 for it you'd be back in a month. games made by nobody developers have nothing behind their mmo's. no crafting, hardly any missions, stale gameplay. if you dont believe me try some out you cant stick with them long if you've ever played a good one.

So true, most MMOs that aren't made by big name companies, may look very nice, but are shallow and end up being the traditional Korean level grinding game. (And this is korean, ) I'll give it a try still, and it looks great, but I'm spectacle in how long it can hold my interest.

I wonder if Korea follows normal copyright laws. My guess is no being why they probably stole most of the code from a pirate wind waker source.

Korean mmos are fun for a bit cause any new mmo is then it bores you to tears. i'd probably try this game as well though cause it is pretty and WW is the only Zelda i ever liked smile.gif
