OK I loved the game for these reasons
-A+++ story Line
- Good characters
- Fun battle System
- 50/50 Difficulty
-Mysteriously confusing
and its ROCKING all a round only probs were
-Cliffhanger ending
-Haseo is a jerk at the Begging he softens up
-Graphics
-Sequels
-to many CS
- Final Boss Is like easy/Hard

I enjoyed GU greatly, and I actually enjoy Hasseo because if that happened to me on my first day, most likely I would be cold to everyone, plus look how far he down leveled!

Also, it's a nice change from Kite. You know, him being nice to everyone...sure there's nothing wrong with it, but Hasseo would fucking own Kite hands down.

That = The Glitchiness of his AIDA...ness?
And the cliffhanger ending wasn't too bad, but you'll understand so much more about the game if you beat the origional 1-4 before playing G.U.
And flame god was a pansy, graphics weren't too bad, and the CSs made the game a lot more interesting.

tbh, I really want them to make The World an MMO, the only arguement I'd have against leaving ffxi for it would be that I might get put into a coma.

HM: Essentially, it isn't that the Fragment project was a test, but we were wondering if we were to make an online game how people would react and how people would play. So, we developed that in conjunction with the GU project to get a grasp on what people would like and dislike.
The way MMOs are building up these days if we were to bring this over it would be better if we thought of something specifically for the US market, because the Japanese and US markets are so different.

Actually, I played the first .hack games (1-4) and beat them, so I wasn't really planning on getting G.U. Well I stayed up one night and watched .hack//roots on TV and decided to look up the game's info on the net, it looks pretty good and I'm planning on ordering it soon.

Some people say its the same old bland, but thats kinda how I like my RPGs, I mean just look @ how long I played FFXI.

already finished vol 1. .hack/wiki has some rather interesting spoilers of vol2 up. least i was right bout azure orca and azure balmung being characters. i figured as much with how vol1 ended and the video it showed for vol2.

I have not beat the game yet but basically "Tri-Edge" when you fight him at the end takes on your characters stats and name (from the previous games) and makes the game a bit harder.... mine will probably be hard as hell thanks to all the stat+ whoring i did for my main character in the process of the 4 games XD so ya...

nope i'm glad for that lol cuz i had sora's blades and i killed a data bug in Quarantine w/o data drain with them O.o
he uses his own equips but only adopts your stats and name....
(btw data bug fighting w/o data drain takes a hella long time to do >.> i think i was there for like 30 min to an hr just cuz i wanted to prove to my friend that it was possible. just not recommended >.>)

AFK (final boss in vol1) gets the name of whatever u named ur toon in the first .hack games 1-4... i dont remember if it will just name him kite if u dont have saved data.. but all .hack games are short. the initial game took exactly 28 hrs to end.. start to finish.. prolly less bc i left my ps2 on randomly due to rl shit.... this game is VERY VERY good.. 2-3 are like whoa... haseos XTH FORM is just sweet looking.... and the chance to beat on ovan more then once is just tooo much to pass up.. for any of u that can read japanese http://dothackers.net has alot of stuff.. alot of its in english but all the vids and shit from 2-3 are jp so yeah.. if u cant understand "Iize... Koi... Koi yo! Ore wa... Koko ni iru, SKEIIIIIIITH!" (possible sp its 424 am) u might be annoyed by the videos with no subs.. theres alot on youtube about the 2 games that havent been released in the us... but theres a vol 2 trailer that subbed iirc so yeah.. now to my big question.. did any of u pwn doppleganger? i mean i molested it pretty badly myself

lol i saw the original series, and wanted to play .hack, but i couldnt stand the gameplay <.< i wanted a friedn to come play it for me so i could see the CSs lol, cuz i really wanted to see what happens, tho i was depressed there wasnt going to much more store with the anime characters in the game, but i liked how roots was gonna be closer to the new GU game, tho its not as catchy as the 1st series, i can see it has potential, hopefully i can udnerstand whats gonna happen, from just seeing the 1st series, the dumb sequal chici styled series, and the 3 OVAs that also have a scene gthat takes place AFTER the last game of the 1st series, where they all meet up again, for a final ending.
