I loved the old school games like this, Deja vu and Uninvited and such. I am guessing thats what kind of game this seems like, but with more character interaction

This looks interesting...and I bet if I try to buy it the guy at Gamestop will try to talk me out of it, like he does with every game I get there.

They shouldn't be telling you what to and not to buy. I hate it when they do that. I remember when I went to buy God Hand this guy told me he was disappointed with the game and it really wasn't worth a purchase. I ignored him and bought it anyways. Unlike you, Tiamet, that doesn't happen often where I buy games at. I should be able to buy 5 copies of Superman 64 without them giving me their unwanted opinion. I also hate when I come in there to see these geeks with too much time on their hands have a social gathering in front of the counter while holding up the line.
On topic: Ya, the game looks cool. Too bad I can't find a Nintendo DS anywhere.

penny arcade guy talks about it today. it sounds like to me an old text based adventure where you swap out the word "text" for "picture". the screen is flipped like brain age.
i'm getting it. our stores usually get stuff in today and tomorrow.

QFT.
Amazing that this came up when i just dug out my old shadowgate, deja vu, and uninvited carts last week while cleaning out the closets (maniac mansion too) and was having a blast with them.
Dusk looks like a winner to me.

Oh man, this kind of game brings back memories. I might get it soon. It reminds me of some of the old PC-XT games I've had (lol... on CGA/EGA graphics and 9.44 MHz 8088 CPU ^^; ).
Shadowgate was another one that came to mind. I'm sure there's more, but my 26-year old memory isn't what it used to be. XD

Omg it is so like those old schoo games it rocks, but it actually makes sense and has good dialogue, instead of randomly dying it has better game over stuff, like I was terrorizing a little girl on the stairs and later when I went to my room Dunning the Hotel owner looked pissed and he told me that the girls father called and he wasn't going to have some sicko that likes to terrorize little girls in his hotel and kicked me out. (Game Over) Next time I talked to her I picked different options and the dialogue changed alot, I ended up helping her with some stuff.

;.; i want to buy the game...and pheonix wright, but im saving my money to buy a wii...i rarely get shifts at work so thats why its a bit of a dilema, spend like, 100 bucks, buy the two games, and have to wait to buy a wii longer, or dont buy em, and have the wii that much faster...;.;:wall:wall
