To obtain any Wand (Charm or Miracle, Normal Quality or High Quality) WITHOUT it being signed, do the quest as normal. After you trade all four of your whole chocolates, talk to the moogle to find out your score and claim your prize. When any type of wands are available, disband from your party. Once your are on solo, choose your wand from the moogle. He will give it to you without it being signed by your partner.

This is for those type of people who want event items without having it imprinted with a name you don't even know who it belonged to.

Were you in a party with the person you were trying to get it signed with, Final? That's how the event worked last year. If you can't sign the new wands ima have to shoot a taru. T_T

The miracle wands (both version), I got signed. Your partner has to be in the same zone, for safety measure, we both talked to the moogle around the same time to picked the prize.

It was the Charm Wand +1 i couldn't get signed.
I had a charm wand +1 from last year, it wasn't signed so I stored it, when this event came out, i pulled it out of storage and tossed it. I gotten the miracle wands and romance potion (hehe, it's just fun to have that in autotranslator) on my first 3 runs.
5th run, I finally got Charm Wand +1 option in the prize list, I clicked on it with my partner next to me, checked inventory, not signed, king of run-on sentence, but i don't care, not today atleast, lets end this sentence with a. <---

Romance Potion is not AoE, I mixed that up with something else on ffxiwiki
done about 20+ runs just for the hell of it, getting people wands and me plenty of signing crystals and romance potion.

sadly, you cant get it signed with a same sex partner. you have to have a male/female couple to do it, trying m/m or f/f wont work. which kinda pisses me off, I know your pain :/
