But I really am looking forward to the game. That 15 min trailer for the game was so great. And Raiden looks even sweeter than he did in MGS2. I wonder why people in NA didn't like him as much. xD But yeah, I was just pretty excited and had a loss of words. Sorry. xD

I dont know this but i'd imagine game companies are offered a lower license cost per unit sold if they are big time (like Konami or Rockstar) and go exclusive. I am also sure these companies do a cost analysis to find out whether they would make more or less money by being exclusive. If one side means more moolah (Japanese for Yen) then that would be the deciding factor.

If this isn't what game companies do, then I should be running the bastards.

Konami is clearly jp onry anyway, MGS will be exclusive to the PS3. Microsoft will never see MGS, even though it would probably fit perfect with the 360.

But who knows, maybe they'll let the 360 have it too, but I can gurantee you right now the PS3 would get it released a couple months before the 360, just like what happened with Grand Theft Auto.

I might buy that MGS 1 remake since my father threw out all my playstation games. :| Ya, MGS has never really been console exclusive. MGS4 will be on the X Box 360 in about 6 months after PS3 release with extras probably.

It'll be, at the very most, a temporary PS3 exclusive. More likely a total exclusive, if Hideo Kojima has anything to do with it. He does hate the 360 and Wii after all. I saw a snippet quote a long time ago, he was definitely buying into the whole "Cell is smarter than j00" BS.

By exclusive, I meant like GTA. It was exclusive in the sense that Sony got it months before anyone else. Hence, why I used the GTA example. Going off on a tangent with an example that has absolutely no connection with the subject matter seems a little pointless, wouldn't you agree? Oblivion is the same way. It was exclusive for the XBox, except it will be released on the PS3, hence voiding the exclusiveness. That doesn't take away that at one point it was exclusive though.

Sony is retarded, but they treat their bigger developers well. I highly doubt they will release an MGS4 for the 360 on the same date as the PS3. With how successful the 360 is, I wouldn't put it past them to released a 360 MGS4, but it'll be pushed to a later date than the PS3 release.
