Since XBL talk is dispersed among the many threads where no man may tread figured I'd start a clearinghouse.

I'll start: How can I create a team of 2-4 friends and then hit the lobby and wait for a similar team or randoms to join in Gears? I tried last night in ranked matches with a pal and couldn't figure it out. So instead we just found a game without many people then rushed in. We got to play together but it was not ideal as I know it can be. Gratzi.

Gears, unfortunately, doesn't have the greatest lobby system. The only way I could imagine doing this is by creating a game and sending your friends invites. I haven't toyed around too much with Gears, as none of my good friends have it, so when I do play, I just play in random unranked games.
