The press release includes the information that both John Youssi and Margaret Hudson worked on the art for the game alongside the show's designers.

Although the release tells us Seth MacFarlane recorded custom sound calls for the game, there is no mention of any work by Alex Borstein who voices Lois, Mila Kunis who is Meg or Seth Green who provides the voice for Chris. Their contributions may possibly be quotes taken from the show.

There are three different sound settings to cater for more conservative tastes and a replacement sticker to remove the beer reference for those sensitive locations.

January 8, 2007- Meet the Griffins…America’s new first family of comedy! The Griffin family stars in the FOX Television show FAMILY GUY, an animated sitcom that is making adults of all ages laugh till they cry. FAMILY GUY is also Stern Pinball’s newest pinball machine, designed by Pat Lawlor, his team at Pat Lawlor Design, and the engineers at Stern Pinball.

The FAMILY GUY pinball machine features exclusive never before heard phrases by FAMILY GUY show creator, Seth MacFarlane. Seth offers up plenty of hysterical lines as Peter Griffin (the father), Brian Griffin (the family dog), Stewie Griffin (the baby who wants to take over the world), and other characters from the show. The FAMILY GUY pinball offers three different adjustable levels of speech (Adult, Moderate and Family). The FAMILY GUY pinball machine also features original artwork from the artists who create the FAMILY GUY television show, as well as famed pinball artists John Youssi and Margaret Hudson.

The FAMILY GUY pinball machine introduces a unique element to pinball -- Stewie’s mini-playfield. Stewie’s mini-playfield is a small pinball playfield that sits in the upper right hand corner of the main playfield. It has mini-flippers that the player controls with the regular flipper buttons when the game is in ‘Stewie mini-playfield’ mode. The mini-playfield even has ramps and targets to shoot at while a toy of Stewie turns on its axis in front of the mini-playfield and taunts the player into believing they have no chance of beating Stewie.

Additional features on the game include: character figures of each of the six Griffin family members by Mezco Toys; a Patriot Ale can with a Brian Griffin toy standing on top that can be struck by the ball (the game owner will be provided with an extra set of decals if they want to change Patriot Ale to Patriot Root Beer); two captive pinballs, which spell out P-I-N-B-A-L-L when struck; and plenty of multi-ball features.

“FAMILY GUY pinball has great depth and is fun and easy to understand for the casual player. This is a great game for both home owners and game operators,” said Gary Stern, President of Stern Pinball.
