the idea of getting a moongate pass just won´t leave my my mind, even though I won´t need it at all for another 15 levels at least...
information on it is scarce, and a bit dim, so I´d appreciate some advice from people who have actually gotten the pass. first, do I need to complete any certain zilart mission? I understand that I have to wait until midnight at full moon, then I can go through one of the gates at C-7 or M-7 in Ro´Maeve, and fínd and touch a ??? there. which area does this take me to? is there a map available somewhere, or do I just have to find my way around and pray for the best and have a good stock of sneak oils and tonko tools with me?

the ??? doesn't take you anywhere. the map can be bought in Mhaura but it's not remotely useful in locating the ???. You'll just need oils until you reach the two doors. thereafter if you see a golem you'll need invis.

here's how to raise your chances of getting the moongate pass: as someone with the moongate pass to take you there, and just camp it. of course, it could be in the other area, whichcase you're screwed, but if someone lets you in before the full moon you'll have a slightly better chance of locating the ???.

as far as i can tell, the sole purpose of this key is so that you can level from 71<75 there.

uh I made this very unclear... I have the Li'Telor map of course. I know that I have to find the ??? behind the moongate, but is there a map of the place behind the gate... that´s what I meant.

no. it's still the same map. it looks like this:

* i can't draw the map correctly... think of a T junction with the bottom of the T being the entrance.

the left and right chambers beyond the entrance are much bigger than how i drew them. there are little chambers lined along the edges inside where some weapons and pots hang around. that's where an xp party would camp. same map. not very big area. just be careful where you decide to use another oil.

I went through the opened gate at last full moon, ran around for a while and ate through half a stack of silent oils before the ??? finally popped right in front of me, which got me my moongate pass... not hard at all
