Reason for asking is: I just got a New Tower Mac, and I am about to get XP SP2 (Got Vista .. What a Fucking Nightmare) and hope to be able to push out some serious graphics while playing after it is all set up. Hope ...

Regedit allows you to adjust the graphics higher than what FFXI Config allows. You can get graphics BETTER than those offered in the Xbox360 version if your PC can handle it. Just google "FFXI Regedit" and you will find some guides on what to do.


PS how the hell do I get my POL pics from the viewer to my computer? Whenever I use fraps + windower, the pictures appear all faded and bright. If anyone can help me in either situations that would be great.

Sure, I run a 1536x1536 overall Gphix rez with 1280x1024 window rez. I can probably go higher, but Honestly I dont want to put MORE strain on my Card, what im running now is perfect for me.

and, I have a 256 mb 7200 Geforce FX card and im playing on my laptop, Which is a Dell M1710

ah memories. this scene completed the game for me. if you ever watched the long cg cs on the startup disk you'd know that this scene really brought the story full circle. at least it did for me when i beat cop. i felt like i beat the game. my best moment on 11 was when my toon looked over and say the crumbling city here.
