Yes i have the same problem but theres no way to fix this. because there is no way to manually input emotes and ws, I will continue to try things but since i didnt originally create either AV or MV its a slow process lol.
If anyone else feels the urge to press buttons and achieves something cool please post it lol.

Hi, I recently downloaded the update for Altana Viewer. I extracted it to my AV file but I noticed some things are missing. ex: Dread Spikes, The Serpent Generals, ToUA music, etc. Were these things suppose to be in the update or have they just not been added yet?

serpent generals are likely to be pc based models not npc models.
If i remeber rightly Toau music has a different coding to the original music there for will not play
and dread spikes may be there just dosnt have a name im used to working with MV so not used to effects, look under effects,others there should be a list of unknown names that should be all the effects i could find.

Thanks for all your hard work on this, Mortama. I was looking for recent lists for both model viewers for quite awhile. Little did I know I know it was on the forums I visit for FFXI most frequently :crazy. It allowed me to find the .DAT for the Wivre mob so I could temporarly remove the .DAT. These things lag me so much in Nyzul Isle, they are non-aggro, non-linking and everyone ignores them and fights Greater Colibri. Removing them gave me the FPS boost I needed. Thanks again for the effort you put into this.

Altana Viewer isn't working for me anymore, when i go to launch it says FFXI has been updated and may not work properly. :con

dont worry just click ok and it will load, all the files and stuff still work

Hi Mort, just a quick question. I know that you recently had to do some tinkering with COR AF because it was the fomor model instead of the PC model bieng used, but i was wondering if what you did may have affected this. Ive been playing around with .DAT files and decided to spiff up the Elvaan M COR AF with some different models. It looks great ingame, and it shows up fine with MV, but when i stick it in AV, only the Frac shows up from the set, the rest remains the regular set. Pics:
so maybe you can help me understand why AV is acting weird in that regard, kind of wanted to use AV for a sig with those models and its giving me trouble, thanks in advance.

Hmmm i have a idea maybe the rest of the models were for the fomor model, ill whack me tools out and see what i can do ill update this page once i find out for you.

i tried the whole open file with notepad and edit thing, and its telling me the path is incorrect and now in AV the model for the pants wont even show up, think i messed up > <

hey Mortama, any chance the music tab is gonna be updated? I listen to the stuff on AltanaViewer all the time while I work. nothin releaves me more then listening to the BG music to Rollanberry fields xD

I assume you mean Aht urgan stuff and if i remember right that music dosnt work in AV ill look into it though lol
