This Program is probably only useful for exploration and play.

Instructions on Installation (Must be followed exactly)

This walkthrough only works for c:/ installations of ffxi you will have to edit the .reg file for other instalation directorys.

Step 1: Download The .Rar File
Step 2: Extract the .Rar file and install the pol registry this will make a fake jp pol
Step 3: Install Japanese non unicode (C-Panel, Regional/language settings, Advance tab) (you may need windows cd key)
Step 4: Delete old .Rar File and re-download it and extract it.

The EWH program should work now

Only use this if you don't mind pressing Buttons Make a Backup just in case (everything went ok for my installation but you neva no)
If you have any problems ill try my best to solve them for you.
Credits: Everyone from the past 2yrs that helped make the registry and to solve the problems in this program.

1 + - Scroll through maps
2 Home Key- reset location
3 Arrows for movement
4 Hold Ctrl for faster movement
5 PG up PG dn for height controls

Any chance someone has updated lists for Altana View, or maybe mortama can be awesome and change the '-' to '/'? I'd jump on it, but I neither have access to a linux box nor remember how to use sed properly. ><

For anyone thats wondering how to update there Modelviewer just extract all the files to your MV location that should work.. also remeber to set your dat location to number 4 for anything aht urgan..

i will also be updating Altana viewer im just tired atm lol..

I don't fully understand how to get anything from ToAH out of this. Can someone explain real fast pls? I downloaded the updated list too and put in in one of the folders. Maybe im just missing something. I wan't to be able to see the dolls. Lets go with explaining how to do that. Thanks =D

to be able to view AU stuff just go to file on Model viewer screen and click original dat location or something like that and make sure the location is pointed to rom4... rom3 for cop

K i have never used Altana viewer of the model viewer before. Just beed told by friends that it's cool and such.

I went to the download site listed above for both viewers. downloaded them. I updated my directx to directx10 (from microsoft's website). Restarted the PC and such. tried to open model viewer but every time i do it, it says directX 8 failed to initialze.

any idea what's going on?

I wonder when would Altena Viewer get the frame by frame feature like the model viewer. Comic makers need that function. XD
