so it seems with all these new gm rules due to he fact of the high player volume of complaints has it really got better?
i am sure many of you like me have been playing since NA release, wasn't to bad then or not bad at all!! but the past 3 years LOL WE ALL know about rmt and their ways! mpking(before update) the 3 months of never longing off! the hack claims the list goes on! (name some more if you guys want) BUT after all these years SE has finally done something! change nm drop's to bcnm
or ksnm. ok cool and now for this new update all these force pop NM's and all joo have to do it get trigger! aight cool!!! or is it?
well lets see!
1: bcnm, ksnm - rmt can still farm seals and get these items (there not ra/ex) serk ring ignot cloth""
2: force pop NM's - well alky, pallas, sozu well pop items that can still be farmed by RMT pop nm and get drop
thf knife i 100% for god sake (my thought on thf knife: worthless, had it over a year and if it was that great SE woulnt not make it that easy to get.... hmmmmmm) but that my thought) but alky and pallas still low drop rate , but we all know there camping triggs!

They should just get rid of all gear in the game, that way there's no desire for it.

Yeah you know they would have to farm about 100 thf knife to get the price of just one that it would used to be when they would farm it. It also takes longer for them to get the items too well because the fact BCNM and KSNM are not 100% drops so they're most likely spending about a week or so farming seals goin to fight the NM for sSerket don't get it and they keep repeating this over and over making it take longer.
Once a RMT's account is banned you know what they do? They go out and get yet another account so no matter what

ISNM drops and make them RA/EX yeah rmt will still be there but way less and the things we need will be ra/ex so all we have to do is hit a vok button faster then another player or worry about other players hacking! <---- all ways goign to happen} but with all the good shit ra/ex rmt might get the hint! will SE do this? maybe, and very slowly! they want to get as much money as they can before it blows up! face it, there no 100% into making this game so WE THE GAMER HAVE FUN! its about them making millions of dollars! witch is understandable in way! its there game they do what they want where at their mercy in a way! but liek any good business when ppl whine and cry enough they changer the policy's a bit each time! so maybe in time rmt will go away! we can only hope

From what I'm reading...
You basically want everything handed to you on a silver platter.
That just from my understanding of course.
SE made it so everyone can have a chance at the items and to isolate rmt to a point where they won't have much to farm and sell. Making some nms be popped by trading a item to it was made so everyone can have a equal chance at obtaining the said item.
Can't claim? Learn to use your JAs. Can't get a drop? Bring a thf. Can't kill the nm? Bring a party. Can't do any of the above? Log off.
Rmt also used to control most of the economy and screwed over alot of crafters. From what SE is doing they are on the right path to fixing FFXI. Banning more and more rmt, giving the community a better chance at obtaining desired items. Yet people such as yourself continue to complain and bitch and whine about the the stuff SE is doing.
I highly suggest you do as Shirai concluded in the last bit of her post.

I'd like to point out that if SE was "helping" out RMT's, how is it that they've made changes to help accomodate those that aren't. If anything, you should be DAMN WELL GRATEFUL that they're at least making an attempt to try fixing it. Of course, RMT= equivilant of pests, meaning that they can't get rid of them all. 2nd, I think someone's just pissed 'cuz they can't make gil the way they wanted to 'cuz of all the changes. If you can't stand what SE is doing (or been tryin to do), then don't play the game. Period. That or STFU, and play it the best you can.

Hey. Jackass. RMT can't stop others from running BCNM and KSNM or popping NM's either. Therefore, it gives legit players the opportunity to get these items, and gil sellers suddenly lose monopoly power. No more 72 hour pop windows, where RMT takes 5 hour shifts to claim the pop and normal people actually have to go to work and make a life. This is the point of those updates, to give everyone a friggan chance.
The only players stupid enough to buy the items (or the gil) with real currancy are those that are too lazy or unskilled to do it themselves. And if that's the case, the RMT squad from SE will rape them. Ever take a look at the RMT sites and the prices of gil? I do it often to gauge RMT strength. Prices are going up. Availability is going down. Market values are steadily decreasing. That means these bannings and steps are actually effective.
