well pld/war has benifits that a pld/nin doesnt have. for example. if your doing kirin do you REALLY wanna have to tell your plds "ok guys go to town and change sub then come back. we will wait for you!"

Its really good for hate stability imo too...

plus one of our pld/war has a aegis... nuff said.

Negative. PLD/NIN dmg mitigation from shadows, excels in keeping hate that blows lolPLD/WAR out of the waters. Apart from that, giving UNNECESSARY TP to mobs is just plain stupid.

point is what works for some doesnt always work for others. we find kiting kirin for example as /nin to be weak. dds can take hate too easily. stuff like farming often too hard to take hate against these dds unles you have voke. we dont go to sky for example to fight one thing. gear for any eventuality that may occour.

but your one of those /nin onry bandwagon people i suppose..

This was our linkshell's first byakko kill...and the drops were way to sexy. We are 2/4 on BH. Made our nin very happy

The three trips I actually went to sky for Byakko yeilded 4/6, 0/2, and 3/3.

Our LS so far has been 2/3 on our run last week. With all 3 THF's having between TH3 and TH4. The last Byakko we did was just sad. lol

First run on byakko and not only was it successful but haidate and behemoth skin dropped along with one or two abjurations (forget which). We didn't have much trouble with him either it was nice.


Edit: Forgot, the axe dropped as well. We had a good run.

and as for pld both pld/war and pld/nin works for most sky stuff, nothing is all that hard.

but pld/nin allows you to straight tank kirin a lot of the time so the fight just goes faster. and if you cant hold hate /nin you arent doing it right. and no that wasnt ment as in insult, it just means your plds need more practice /nin. i only /war for sky farming if i go (to busy farming for dynamis sponsoring, stage4 done by end of jan ftw?) or for dyna, but half the time i go pld/drk to dynamis so yah...

but none of this matter since we tp burn kirin now... i miss the old days tbh

I remember Doing 5 one time back in 2006, we were 4/5 on them with my sky ls before it broke. I got the last pair, sucks that the last Byakko didn't drop because the war that was looting agaisnt me didn't get them.
