Wierd things going on for today's event I feel the need to note.

1) During Fireday in Sandy on Siren server. The moogle gave each member in our pt 2 eggs, instead of the daily 1 egg. We were all wearing the egg helm if that mattered.
2) Friend was harvesting in Giggeus, found a F egg on fireday as well from a harvesting point.

Anyone else having these strange occurances?

While digging I found a 1 colored egg, 4 soft-boiled eggs and 1 hard-boiled eggs
I think thats what it means by the effect buy strangly I got a soft boiled with out the hat.

For all egg events, you can also mine and log and probably harvest lettered eggs.


Also, if the Chocobo helmet simply just adds eggs to digging, then it's not all that great . I tried chocobo digging with it and got eggs as well.

I guess it's possibly to level up if an area was dugged up.

Has anyone tested it and tried digging in a dug up area with the chocobo helmet?

Im an A10 digger and can clear an area pretty fast.

I can confirm that you can still dig up this junk after you have cleared the area of all normal items

Also, with this helm i have also dug up ninja tools. I had never done this before.

It will let you dig more than just eggs.

It might be SE's own version of an Egg hunt when you harvest or dig on your chocobo during this event.

Anyone tried to spell V-A-N-A-D-I-E-L ? Its 8 letters.. so its feasible (havent tried yet). I got the jewled egg last night by spelling an area under nation control and having the "national eggs" (wing egg, lamp egg, flower egg) in my inventory.
Jewled egg doesnt do much more than look really pretty, but its a nice MH trophy.
