I was wondering where the best place to farm Subligar for the 'Brygid the Stylist Returns' quest was? When doing the CoP missions the Fomors seemed much easier to kill in Sacrarium than the Aqueducts (though prehaps that was just my imagination), however I tend to hear of more parties farming subligar in the Aqueducts than in Sacrarium, though whether this is because more people have access to the Aqueducts than Sacrarium or whether the Aqueducts is the best farming spot I dont know.

So all you folks who have farmed in both areas which did you prefer? I'm leaning more towards Sacrarium because of access to treasure hunter II, but if there is some other reason people pick the aqueducts over sacrarium that I dont know about then please let me know.

I usually don't farm subligar with other people, I just solo them all on BST, but I know a few reasons why people prefer Sacrarium over Aqueducts.

Aqueducts:
Pros:
-Easier to access.
-More people have it.

Cons:
-Fomors spread apart.
-Fomor parties.
-Hard to navigate through without minimal aggro.

Sacrarium:
Pros:
-TH2
-All Fomors are solo.
-No links, only aggro.
-Fomors are easily accessable, and are generally in the same area.
-Swift belt parties usually farm subligar during downtime.

Cons:
-Fewer people have access.
-The maze can sometimes be bad for people who don't pay attention to sneak.

All fomors are not solo in Sacrarium, but all types are found solo. If you see them standing in lines and not wandering around, they're partied. You can add "Most Subligars soloable by BST" to the Pro column of Aqueducts.

Honestly, if your subligar monster is found in the Aqueducts un-partied, then it's easier to get it with a BST or NIN + WHM friends than it is to organize a bigger group to go to Sacrarium. I have 2 Subligars that I got from Aqueducts, and 2 that I got from Sacrarium. I soloed the ones in the aqueducts and it took about four hours with one hour of playtime. I partied multiple times for the ones from Sacrarium.

Depends on the job, SAM is easiest to get to and kill in Sacrarium if that's what you're after.

Actually I'm after my Gaudy Harness for bst, I have a nice duo going and wanted to try and pick up the harness in advance of hitting 50 so I dont have to take time out to get it. Only my Bst is too low for a solo attempt at the moment, and my partner hasn't started CoP and has no interest in doing so.

I found it easier in Aqueducts, at the room where Eba pops, we farmed 2 BST/BRD Subligar, 1 THF, and 1 NIN in about 1.5 hours. We went with NIN BRD + WHM, and was very easy.

If you're after BST, its solable in Aqueducts. I actually made a guide how to do it here. The picture is down and I may rehost sometime, but you get the general idea from it. I went 1/2 for it and got it in about an hour of work. Not too hard at all.
