Uhh.. i thought the chocobo wand was a reward from doing live quest at fanfest? I have a moogle rod, but didn't do the livequests.. i'd be pissed if i did and they handed out the item for an event lol.

So i canceled my ID this month and what they do? They put this anniversry rings ; ;
and when the mog said u never ... ever gonna get this ring again if u lose it >_>

Those chocobo wands existed since 2003. It was first obtainable by the JP first at an anniversary event for the JP.
In 2004, the anniversary event returned.
In 2005, the event items were not obtainable, it was replaced by something but you couldn't get a mog belt or chocobo wand anymore.
In 2006, the event returned with all the items.
2007(now), same event except now you can get an anniversary ring at the beginning.

Chocobo Wands were not from Adventurer campaign . you either had to be a volunteer at the Fan Festival 2006 or have finished all the real-life quests. this was the last time that it was attainable.

Actually, the wands were indeed obtainable from last year's Adventurer Appreciation and are back this year. I just got my Chocobo Wand yesterday.
