Alright, I don't /check very many people, so unless I have regular contact with a person I don't know who's in what LS, or even the LS names out there. I know a few of the more prominent ones like Machina, Hiddenpower and Saints, but that's about it. From time to time people post here looking for a LS and it's usually "I need a LS, this is who I am, who wants me?". I think it would be better if they didn't have to stab blindly at the darkness for a LS, but could see what the various LS's out there are all about and then make a decision. I also want more info for myself, since I'm kinda in the dark about most everything. ^^;
So, here are the rules for this thread:
1. If you're not on Asura, please don't post on this thread. I'll ask moderators to delete/edit out your post.
2. Post information only about your LS. I and others don't care what you think about LS X, as you're not in that LS. I'll ask moderators to delete/edit posts that don't follow this policy- I'll not have this be a flame war.
3. Please do not make this a conversational/recruit me thread, I want it to be a display of information only. If you have questions about things posted here, please take it to PMs or in game.
4. If someone in your LS has already posted here, please don't reply unless you have something important to add that they left out (note: "right on, our LS rocks!" is not something important).

I'll give this a shot:

9. Thursday nights is our linkshell night. We try to gather up as many people as we can for coffer key parties for members or NM AF fights. Really anything that we can do to better the linkshell.
10. We've done lots of things for fun, normally getting keys and helping people out is pretty rewarding to us, imo. But we've done a couple of spur of the moment level 1 naked runs. Lots of fun, lol.

I have no clue. Usually 10-20 online at a time, but we have a lot of transient members who cycle through different pearls.

Generally 25-58, and leveling, but we do have a few 65+ people that hang around.

Pretty standard. Been doing a LOT of AF stuff lately with people getting into their 50s.

Just know somebody, and don't be an asshat. ^^

Currently, no, we're still adjusting to the current rush of new people. But there's always exceptions for friends of the LS.

AF, AF, coffer keys, AF... Oh, besides that, adv job runs for some of the lower levels, random skill up parties, we've been known to get bored and go sit in kazham/garliage/(insert low level zone of death trains) and kill whatever they bring to us.

We're working on a 2nd Nakie Run (We were thinking Bastok -> Rabao and back), we've held fishing tournaments, that sort of stuff.

Dunes : Trap pugils/snippers near beach so that we just spell chain the thing to death.

New members can enter the LS by two different paths, One they can be sponsored by an existing member in good standing. Or two they can apply thru the membership committee. Sponsors will be responsible for educating their applicant on the LS rules, and proper conduct. They may be asked by the council to address issues that arise during the sponsorship.
All potential members must fill out an application which will be posted on the forums for all members to review.
The application will consist of:
Character information, rank, and crafting skills if applicable.
Their goals for the gaming experience, and commitment to the game. Type of gaming style (i.e., crafter, casual player, or power gamer).
What they expect from an LS.
What they can offer the LS.
Anything else you would like to share with us.
Minimum age 18 or a demonstrated gaming maturity.
Level 20 job, or level 30 crafting.
