After choosing "I'll wait" for about 1 week with Main Character, and also waited for full moon (thought it might increase the chance of getting a good item) so at 90% I finally opted to "gimme my present" and got a Gold Moogle Belt +3%HP (best out of the three belts: bronze, silver and gold). I did some crafting taking advantage of the waxing full moon then logged on with other character that had also waited. At 95% full moon got an Adventuring Certificate. After this I waited maybe 2-3 days with both characters then got a Return Ring and a Bronze Moogle belt during a waning moon. Will wait again, then will get presents before event ends on the 30th, hopefully during a waxing full moon. ~ Hope this helped!

I dont recall how long i waited but i got a federations stable scarf. Than The next day i hit wait, than after that i hit give me my present.
It said heres your ANGELWING but my inventory was full, so it said come back after sorting your inventory.
After i dropped a crystal i talked again and it again gave me the option to wait or take. I hit wait not wanting an angelwing... So im assuming you can go with full inventory see what your prize will be, if u want it u drop an item nd tell the moogle u want it again. If not hit wait.

Personally, I am still trying to get my choco wand/gold moogle belt. I keep trying every adventure campaign event and keep getting fireworks or any other inexpensive consumable items.

I have been trying since 2004 FFXI anniversary event, then 2006, 2007.

There are only a few days left till the event ends, hope I can get it.

I waited 5 days and got >1< angel wing. Every time I wait 2-3 days I only got >1< angel wing. I've never gotten 21 or 72 of 90 angel wings, only ONE fucking angel wing.

Went there each day and waited on each for the final week, got 99 angel wings.

They're nice, but I wanted the Choco staff, none of this random crap again please SE, man I can't stand when there seems to be no logicial way to get or do something and its "oh its just random" - really is a slap in the face of your loyal players who may happen to like getting each event item thing. ;(

I made it to the mog at 23:54 JP time and found out its not there no more. did "wait" from 2nd day till now....got nothing :/

It was completely random, I got a bronze, silver and gold moogle belt, a return ring(NQ and HQ) many angel wings, a windy and bastok choco stables neck piece and the adv certificate. Waiting 1 day and several days at different times. Oh well, it was fun to see the stats for time played at least
