Well.. i posted this in another one of my threads, but in hindsight i realized it probably rates its own thread.

I got the quest for the new avatar (probably fenrir).

From what i have done so far... You talk to the NPC near the house of hero (windy walls) and he mentions somthing about getting elemental whispers from the prime avatars.

Then... go back and kill all the avatars AGAIN and this time, when you choose what loot to get, select the elemental whisper.

Well.. thats the first leg of the new quest. I'm going to go back and kill all the avatars this weekend. If someone else doesn't post the complete quest spoiler, i'll finish this and format it in a guide

hahah yes tight it was what i was told also. except for the part about the guy in windy VERY helpful THANK Joo .... thankfully i saved 3 avatar fight items for the new update so i can grab the first three .... sigh now to round up the masses and hunt the other three :-(

What level were you when you got your second avatar?

umm he isnt in the house of the hero he is in windurst walls on top of the rhinostry, his name is Leppe Hoppe, and you dont go back to the quest givers of the rime avatars to get the whispers, the avatars drop them as key items.

is it a known fact that all the avatars have to be defeated again? cuz i distinctly remember whenever i beat an avatar and exited the protocrystal it said i received whisper. it doesn't show up as a key item or anything, but i remember it very well cuz i couldnt figure out what it meant. i hope you dont have to beat them again cuz forming the party for that would be a pain.

You need to defeat them again.

As for you two excited level 50's - keep in mind that several full jp parties of 75's wiped many times to Fenrir. I doubt you'll stand much of a chance =/

If the lvl 50s play their cards right, they might be able to actually see the summon before he kills them in a most humiliating manner. I guess this rules out my plans of completely avoiding genkai with my blm...now I have to hit 75 to even stand a chance againt this new guy.

Leppe-Hoppe who is in South Waters on top of the Rhinostery is the quest giver and he wants you to give him six whispers

Basically you need to kill every summon and not "cash in" the Whisper, instead take all six back to Leppe-Hoppe and he will change it into the Moon Bauble.

After were told he hits people for 200-400 damage per hit and has a range attack that does 700 to everyone in range we decided not to even wait in line.

There was over 50 people in there with us all kitted out in amazing gear and at least level 70 which was really disheartening after a lot of hard work and effort. We were told that level 75 parties were getting slaughtered....

well from what i heard the record time against fenir was 1 min 20 secs ...its seems the a perfectly balanced party is need for him and no one has yet to figure it out
