I've been told/seen across the forums that thief can level clothcraft fairly cheaply. Is this true? How so? Is it just farming beastmen items and desynthing, or what? I tried that, and that's not so great (in my opinion). Just a curious 75thf here. I didn't hear this until recently. Thanks for the input.

If thf goes and farms materials, then any craft would be cheep to skill up, depending on your level of course.

There's very little synergy between jobs and crafts in this game. However, if your materials are primarily monster drops then THF will have an advantage, such as collecting your own silk thread or spider webs. Spider webs are like 2k now, so you have to figure out if that beats your standard moneymaking methods or not.
