Just tested it out with no other riding gear on, gave me double riding time (+30). Gonna test it later to see if it's double (IE: even more with a full rider's set) or just a static 30.
Got it after waiting one day from the moogle <3

Nice, though apparently it doesn't work with raised chocobos... According to the discussion page of FFXIclopedia, he tested the wand on a poor Endurance chocobo.
It was 17 minutes without the wand and still 17 minutes with the wand.
Personally, I am still trying to get my wand. I keep trying every adventure campaign event and keep getting fireworks or any other inexpensive consumable items.

I dont think days waited has much to do with it, I know of only 2 others on Asura with it :[. Prolly one or so out each event
