FYI.

Killing the bird that flies in gives you a "temporary items chest" similar to those you get in Salvage. Multiple members of your alliance can click it and receive Pro-Ethers, Hi-Potions, Invicible drinks, etc.

Thats assuming a lot of things.

1 You don't get -aga'd (sleep and silence specifically)
2 You dont have chigoes, because who ever aggros them is now dead.
3 The mobs stay close enough to get off multple astral flows.
4 Your "Tank" dosent die in the time all astral flow hasn't gone off.
    5 You know 35 summoners.
6 35 summoners would actually agree to this.
7 Just a line for lol...

It's Madawc... Just don't worry about it. The gene pool will clean itself eventually. I hope.

Well, my LS went in with 18, 3 BLM, 2 RDM/BLM, and 2 BRDs for planned sleeping...

For the life of me, I can't remember what the name was of the zone... started with an S.. I believe.

Got like 20 Ghosts, Some random Tiger and a Wivre NM.

The ghosts were very easy to sleep with BLM, RDM/BLM, and BRD. We worked em down 1 by 1... no prob... 1 BLM died.

The Tiger aggro'd our group midway of killing the ghosts... we killed the Tiger. no chest dropped... nothing.

Got to the Wivre NM with about 15mins or so left... got it to 42% Basically zerg'd... only 1 PLD/WAR tank he held up well.
We had 1 KC DRK... he did some dmg then died, raised and did s'more... but the NM had so much HP.

Seems as tho a better planned SC+MB woulda helped our setup better. As well, I think that Random mob pop has something to do with the NM.
Not sure how... but if this shit is Random, no ones gonna wanna do it.

I hope somehow, there is a pattern to something. I mean some of these posts with like groups getting 30+ mobs... that's crazy.

We ran out of time... It was fun stuff. BLM and SMN did pwn the boss, but sooooo much HP ._.; it was nuts.

We did, as another poster mentioned, even if you can seperate one, as soon as it's damaged the rest will come back anyway.

So, you should be able to do this:
Tag a mob with an avatar. All other mobs of the same type link on carbie. BLM burn down the mob before carbie dies. Release carbie.
The thing that all the mobs had hate on dies (carbie). The mobs have nothing to link on. They go back home.

As we were gathering, one of our members decided to voke a mob. we went to Rossweise's chamber. we had 10 + Dark elementals and 10+ hounds, with a Giant Wivre boss. the dogs all agrro'd the WAR, and then alliance aggro. they detect low HP of course. we tried carby pull after reraise, it failed. We also tried sac pulling and that didn't work.

Also people outside of area cannot enter once you engage/aggro. we only had 1-2 BRD so we couldn't sleep everything. Seems either BRD/BLM for elemental seal or BRD/NIN would be a wise choice. Some of our BLM stayed back and tried to -ga nuke some mobs and did around 400-500 dmg to each. BLM alliance gogo.

No, as was also mentioned, there's shared hate, you hit one, they'll all stay.

So I see Squenix has indeed created an endgame arena that requires strategy and diversity to overcome.

[grey]So long as you fucking zerg it with BLMs and SMNs. Good job doing the same thing you've always done for endgame stuff, Square. Good job.[/grey]

34-35 people

dark elementals, tiger and Oboron NM.

sleepga wasted a shit load of time for us so bringing poison pots would help a bunch, the tiger aggroed and then ran away for some reason... got a message and then we killed the oboron, which happens to have a godly amount of hp. >.> For some reason it didnt seem to do much, another ls that went after us had it spamming an aoe move but it hardly did anything other than attack us. So atm i'm thinking if you leave the first NM alone (tiger or bird as it seems) the boss is easier.

Win, oboron meat x3 500 ichor, needless to say unless you get more points with less people, it's going to take awhile to get anything.

I assume you meant to say that if you hit one, they all come after you.
If what you mean by "shared hate" is that they all aggro when one of them is attacked, then I don't see why this carbie/nuke method wont work.
They're still linking like normal mobs. You aggro a mob, and link it with something else. If the link's target dies, the link deaggros. It doesn't matter how many people attack the original mob, the link will stay on the person that had hate when it linked with the original ob.
The only problem with this in Einherjar, is that the link range is the size of the entire arena. So, what you need to do is prevent relinking after the aggroed mob's target dies.

Carbie hits your target, everything links on carbie and only carbie. BLM nuke the mob dead before carbie dies. The mobs are still all linked on carbie. The initial target mob is now dead. All of the linked mobs are still on carbie, and have hate on no one else. No one else attacked these mobs. You release carbie. The target of all the linked mobs is now dead, and they have no reason to attack anything else. They go back to their home.

No, they're not linking like normal mobs, normal mobs have a radius in which they will link. These will come from EVERY corner of the room, no matter where you or they are when you pull. As soon as one takes damage, regardless if the rest are on Carby they will all stay.
