Please allow me to say this is wrong, an online petition actually changed an Italian law against stupid mobile phone fees... About 900.000 people signed.
The problem here is that there is no real reason to boycott this game. It's old and SE will replace it soon.
Besides SE biggest error is that they dont trust their players like.. let's say.. Blizzard does. The windower matter is a proof of that.
Did you guys know there is a SO named haiku? http://haiku-os.org/

How does Blizzard 'trust' it's players more? I'm curious.

Probably in that they let CT and other groups develop their game for them instead of trying to stifle them. Incidentally, I didn't say to boycott FFXI, just lame events.

Things like windower, addons, user interfaces. Blizzard encourages them instead of recognizing them as forms of hacks

This is a ploy to see which Playonline accounts post while they're logged into FFXI to have a mass banning for using windower. Good luck!

Except you know, somepeople play FFXI on the PS2 or Xbox360 and have a computer too. >.>

I'm not sure but I guess SE thinks allowing any third party programs gives rise to a higher chance of people using hacks. I'm guessing they act strict to knock down any idea of trying something that is not only a third party program but changes the game's mechanics beyond just windowing the game. And aren't they making an official windowed mode for the game? This may not be true but if it is I say that shows they at least listen to their players and accommodate to their needs. Trusting is all well and good but too much trust can lead to problems when people take advantage of it. I'm sure SE will take the measures necessary to avoid such problems.
Oh yeah, they also want everyone to have an equal playing field as far as I know. This means people who can't use third party programs like ps2 players and such will still have the same available to them as the PC players.
I think the second moogle might be signaling that the conditions are met. Now I think we just have to wait for them to activate it. Just a guess.

So I pulled an old pearlsack out of my safe and made another haiku, however, the new haiku doesn't show up on the bamboo. I'm guess this means the bamboo is full.

I think there's around 70 on Remora's tree, there's probably more but I can't count this late at night so yeah XD Not sure if any server's tree has over a hundred so I'm gonna take a stab and say that's the limit before we get mooglies?

I'm gonna laugh if the event never happens at all and SE royally wastes their time and has to take it away and rethink of how they ruined peoples expectations for the summer time fun.
I know I was really looking forward to getting a bathing suit on my new character.

This event doesn't exist, it's just a ploy to get us to use the FLC site.

I think we'll still have SummerFest, since I remember it expanding into August.
