You could post their haiku for them, Yumiiko.
Or you could just boycott the event until SE releases something fun again. Not that I've missed the Feast of Swords yet again this year, so if that is actually enjoyable, I wouldn't know. I can't remember the last time I did an event for any better reason than, say, free teleports among the three main cities during Christmastime or for some piece of mostly useless gear.

Wow, SE expects every server to have 5 mogs by the 17th? I have a feeling that SE will extend this event. Leviathan still only has 3 moogles. I wonder how many haikus we need per mog. Though, I personally think this event sucks...I enjoy writing Haikus, yet what do we get out of this event? I miss the old Sunbreeze Festival. You know, the one with the fireworks, music, and dancing mogs lol.

Well it's been a few hours and it looks like it didnt make a differnce at all. Seems to me it's merely based on the number of LS's that start the thread, really, really lame SE.

I am a poet.
I also think haikus are
incredibly lame.
Man, I really enjoy writing poetry, this could have been cool... but haikus? Ugh.
I'll 5-7-5 your faces off, SE.

Since the tags represent a LS, I'm guessing SE designed it so the number of Moogles comes from the number of LS represented on the tree as well. I don't think they understand that some LS are just secondary Linkshells for people or turtiary ones. If it's based on a percentage of people on the server posting, well with RMT and people who may not have the ability to use a PC to get on the LS community, that would be an unfortunate lack of foresight on their part.
I'm guessing if we still don't have it unlocked next Friday, they may extend it a bit because they'd feel really stupid if no server or even just 2 or 3 opened it up. I'm wondering if this is their sick, twisted way of unlocking recharging for the Anniversary Rings. I remember seeing when it was first added to the .dat files that it had the NPC Tradeable flag turned on after all. Didn't they do some crazy event way back when it first started in the US where trees had to be killed to turn on OP warps? Perhaps this would be along those same lines.

Ok so my question now is, is there anyone paying attention to see if u acctually posted a poem or could u get away with just posting stupid nonsense over and over again. But if that doesnt work since everyone is after the same thing (event items) why not just let other people use your poems to fill up their linkshell threads, this will never get done otherwise

Well Valzan that is what me and a LS friend did, we just copied and pasted the same poem repeatedly until the thing was full (201 was maxed) after a few hours nothing had changed. But! The next JP day Gilgamesh had it's 3rd moogle so who is to say if it worked or if we simply had enough new LS's post to make the difference hard to test unless some other LS do the same thing we did and we get more moogles.

i think i'll try posting same poem repeatedly to cap the threads of the LSs i have access to.
worst case scenario: i waste 15min.

Phoenix had a non-log out maintence and got the event moogles. They will warp you to Sandy, Bastok, and or Windy. They also give you a piece of bamboo furniture. From what I read, you can only get a piece of furniture from your starting nation.

You can get one from each nation when you use the moogle to warp to a different nation but each one has to be on a different game day. After that you only get chocobo tickets. I took advantage of the free warps to buy cornettes in bastok and trade them in windurst to max my fame ^^ Gaurda has had the event since I logged on about 2pm est on Tuesday.

So it says Titan has 4 moogles, where are they or do they only appear to you if your ls has done the event?
Thank you.
Thank you.

Carby just got it's 5th moogle on the website, so the "event" started on this server
seems all the event is, is moogle in each home city will warp you to another city, once per Game day, as they warp you, you get that city bamboo furniture.
I remember reading .dats for event food. I believe a person would place the bamboo in the house and once per real life day, the moogle gives you a treat ::not tested yet, will find out in the morning::

Woot! Congratulations, fellow Carby peoples! :boing
Just got done getting all 3 bamboo furnishings. It's really easy. When you use the moogle to teleport from one country to the other, he'll give you the bamboo tree from that nation. Green is Windurst, Red is San d'Oria, Blue is Bastok. The important thing to remember in getting them all is that you must wait for the next game day to pass before getting another prize. But you can teleport as much as you want.
I started in my home nation of Windurst what I did was...
1. Teleport from Windurst to San d'Oria. Moogle gave me Sprig of green bamboo grass.
2. Waited for the next game day to pass.
3. Teleport from San d'Oria to Bastok. Moogle gave me Sprig of red bamboo grass.
4. Waited for the next game day to pass.
5. Teleport from Bastok back to Windurst. Moogle gave me Sprig of blue bamboo grass.
6. Ran inside my mog house and placed my trees in my layout.
Done! ^^
