You do know those in game moogle hats were given to those who attended to the fan fest in CALIFORNIA, 1 week before WOTG was released. Before you start bashing things...might wanna check around before making a fool of yourself.

I'm sorry if you guys are too fucking stupid to understand. The Japanese Square Enix store gave out MOOGLE HATS with a purchase of these keychains when they were first released ON THE JAPANESE WEBSITE. You could only get it if you had a Japanese mailing address. I'm not talking about buying a $100 ticket to fanfest, I'm talking about a $14 keychain. Square is a bunch of fucking morons for doing something like this, and it doesn't surprise me.

GMs don't do anything to Japanese players for holding NMs, MPKing, breaking the rules at all, but as soon as an NA person does it they get banned or suspended. It's the same shit year in and year out, I don't know how anyone can live with such a shitty company doing business like Square.

You need to check your facts better. The moogle cap was given out in a coupon along with the key holder that was sold ONLY AT THE TOKYO GAMESHOW. If you ordered on site you would not get the coupon. How do I know this? I was at the Tokyo Gameshow and they sold out really fast on the days they were open to the public. So in the end, ALOT of people ended up not getting a moogle cap, me included.

As for the 2nd part about GMs and JPs. If you don't like it, there's the door

/clap Uchiha! Well done! I may not know personally about The Tokyo Gameshow but I can say that the last two things you said were exactly on my mind when I read Grahamoo post! You definitely need to chill out Grahamoo and to tell you the truth the only players I've ever come across where GMs let them get away with stuff were RMTs and they were Japanese, NA, Canadian and British players. Try looking around online you can find A LOT of giveaways like that for ppl with NA address only. That's how I got a free copy of WoTG for my PS2. (Sorry I don't know about Great Britain or Canada addresses, but I do know that a lot of times you can get one of those, i think it is, PO Boxes, in NA and then enter the contest and just have the PO Box re-routed to your real address. At least thats what I heard other players talk about doing for contests like that ^^ )

at least NA gets a fanfestival and stuff im from Austria and Austria /Germany gets no love whatsoever (hundrets of dollar for a plane ticket for just a weekend... i would do that if i would have it lol)

The keychains allowing people to receive the Moogle Cap were only available at Tokyo Game Show sept 2007, but several claims from japanese players who just couldn't get them forced SE to make thoses Keychains availables on SE homepage for one or two weeks onry.

So Grahamo and Uchiha were both right.

but for those who wanted to get the Moogle Cap/5th Anniv. Keychain, there's a Japanese seller with them on E-bay right now. Just do a search for "Moogle Cap" and you'll find it.

I'm pretty sure there's no other way to get your hands on the cap, so this might be a good option for you guys. I got mine while I was in Japan last year!
