My chocobo is on day 90 or so. On day 130 there is the retirement. I want to ask if the stats go up after day 60 or not? I heared something, that they go up slower, but i dont see "any" changes.
My choco is strenght first class, and endurance poor. i tried to increase endurance with carrying packages and exercise in a group, and feeding vomp carrots. But no chance that it goes up at least on substandard.
Is it senseless after day 60 or not. I wonder why there are 128 days when u are fucked up after 60th day :-). Its only expensive regarding chocobo food and thats all.

Yes, stats slow down around that day so. It's much lower, though it is still possible to raise it but it's really slow. Like it takes 10 training exercises after day 64, to get the stat increase of 1 training exercise before day 64. Though, that's just a guess, point is that it can still raise and it can still go up a level but not very often.
Well, fortunately, it's just endurance and you can simply call your chocobo again if it runs on you.
Also, most people don't really need to use up all the riding time to get to places on chocobos, usually 15 minutes or so.
Poor endurance lasts 17 minutes.
Chocobo racing, not sure how much it will affect that.

Thank You!
I know, poor endurance lasts long. Luck, that i got gallop within the 60 days. but someone said that strength firstclass and gallop is as fast as a rental-chocobo. thats right, i made a test. SE takes the piss out of us, and its not the first time. Many things sound better than they really are. Probably "bore" and the other abilities are also useless.

Actually, Firstclass STR and Gallop isn't the same as a rental, its a tad bit slower. The closest you'll get to rental is Firstclass STR/END with Gallop and Canter.
And whats up with people and raising STR/END separately. I've heard alot of this lately, and its quite disturbing considering you'll most likely never get Firstclass STR & END doing it separately.
Carrying Packages raises both STR & END, so just set your chocobo on this when it becames and Adolescent and you'll be firstclass STR/END by day 45.

Bonkerskitty is right, it seems the best way to get first class str and end is to carry packages. It took me 3 generations but I finally got my Blue with first class str/end and gallop and canter.

It is possible to significantly raise chocobo stats post day 64 mark. Kamp Kweh and Chocobuck enhancements work on current chocobo in stables you are growing til forced retirement. Food also effects chocobo stats post 64. Example of my latest finished chocobo...
STR = Impressive
END = Better Than Average
DIS = Impressive
REC = Average
How I came to those stats are a trademark secret I'll take to the grave. Can do better than that and I plan to on my next chocobo. When raising a choco, make sure you plan ahead of what your goals are with the bird. If you just want something to ride on calls and nothing more, just max str/end...don't even worry bout gallop and canter. If you want a digger, work end/dis as discernment reportly effects digging results on frequency of rare items aquired. If you want a racer, raise everything...focus on str/end first...but keep in mind both dis and rec play a part in chocobo racing.

MEH..
Here are some pointers. Gain chocobucks with another choco to use currently on a chocobo you are beginning to raise early on. Plan ahead what kind of choco you want and go from there, don't just go all over the place from the get go. Kamp kweh often, won't always get bonuses...but sometimes is better than never. Careful with what food u use, as carrots that boost one attribute, will hurt another. Use the chart on how plans effect certain attributes found here.. http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/Category:Chocobo_Raising

right on thats what I'm doing know its just TIME consuming. It took me 8 upgrades to go from poor > substandard.
so now I have
Str - FC
End - FC
Dis - Sub
Rec - poop
I'm just praying that since the gil sucking bird is substandazrd that it won't take as many upgrades to get him to average, we shall see
and I have never taken my bird to kamp kweh
