Using ffxiclopedia maps as reference the other Goalpoint in the reef is at I-8 where the 2 circles ajoin each other. For Castle Ostroja one of the points is on floor 1 where Moo ouzi the swiftblade is. will report back with more later Edit:Ok for one of the points in The eldieme necropolis u will need to drop invis at a point to open one of the doors to access the lower level the goalpoint i found is at K-11/12 on Map 2 (using ffxiclopedia again)

I think there is some sort of "combination" of race and gender that sends you to a certain zone... When ever I go with a Hume Female (I'm a Hume Male) we seem to be sent to Beadeaux. When I go with a Male Tarutaru, I seem to be sent to Aydeewa Subterrane. This is with different partners, different towns and different elemental days. Hmm. Either that or it's just freakishly coincidental.

Beadeaux:
GoalPoint locations are; I-7 (outside map).

Crawler's Nest:
GoalPoint locations are; J-10 (from the "main" map, the one you'd enter into from Rolanberry first).

The Eldieme Necropolis:
GoalPoint locations are; N-9, K-11 & I-8 on the bottom floor (drop down from the area with the stone gates and levers).

I believe someone on Allah tried trading all of the items at once, but the moogle would only accept one at a time.

So, the only rewards are these 3 food items that only last a few minutes? I was sure they'd reintroduce the firework yukatas from last year. I'm glad I got them last year.

hiya, first post at this site.

From what I've seen so far, when a bunch of us took our secondary characters and tried this event, we were taken to Eldieme Necropolis. Our setup was:

group 1

In Bastok:
male hume
male taru

In Sandy:
female elvaan
male elvaan (or maybe they were female, they were elvaan anyway, I don't remember off hand)

Those character didn't have access to Aht Urhgan, so I'm assuming that if characters don't have access to that area, they are taken into areas where they do have access.

On our main characters, we were taken to Mamook. The setup was:

In Windy:
Male hume
Male taru

So far no luck getting anything other than chicken, crackers and duplings. We've done 6 runs in Eldieme Necropolis and only 2 in Mamook. I'm starting to wonder if perhaps you need to wait 1 game day before doing another run or something. I've been trying to remember last years event and I swore it took 4 or 5 runs, one every game day to get the Yukatas that dispensed fireworks. I could be wrong though. The moogle doesn't tell you that however I wouldn't put it past SE to put something like that in.

I did Male Hume + Mithra got Davoi our Goal point was at E-10 or F-10 for all 7 of the times we did it

Last year you had to have Opposite sex partners, ( if I remembered that correctly.) both of you talk to the moogle, you are both teleported to the same area but different spots in the zone which where random, the sneak and invis you received at the beginning would wear off, leaving you to do your best and avoid the mobs, then one of you had to /heal to get things like Hot, cold, or very hot, things like that to find the ??? and get your item, I believe then you had to trade the item to your partner after you where done and give it to the moogle for your Yukata's, then wear your NQ version and redo the next game day to get the HQ Yukata's.

This year you can have same sex, and any race, invis, and sneak don't wear, you both find the same spot, the spot does not change locations. I do find it intresting that sex and gender change the location of where the event takes place. maybe if you get the right sex and gender combo right you will get a special item? like I'm a mithra so if I went with another mithra? maybe we would get something? also has anyone, who did not do the event last year, or has put their Yukata's they had gotten from the years before, not gotten the Yukata's? I was thinking about testing this. also anyone notice you get a key item aslo when you get the item from the goal point? anyone know what that does?

Yeah, i've noticed that when I was doing the event I got a key item, a picture of my friend.
It goes as soon as you trade though, so maybe it's just to prevent cheating? I dunno...

I believe the key item which is a picture of your partner and traded item from your partner shows the moogle that both of you made it to your respective checkpoint.

I haven't had a chance to try out the try it every game day yet since everyone I know are busy doing various things.

Also, I have both of my Yukatas from last year and have been wearing it on the runs that we did do with our secondary characters. My partner didn't get one last year and he didn't get one for his character after the 6 runs in Eldieme Necropolis. Also niether one of us have them for our main characters and we died 4-5 times in Mamook before suceeding twice. Both times we got crackers.

I still find it hard to believe there are only food rewards for this. I glanced through the June 2007 FFXI Patch Compilation of Info from somepage and didn't really see anything that jumped out at me as something that could be a reward for this. They did list the dumplings, crackers and chicken though. So I dunno unless there's something else listed that I might of missed. I was really looking forward to this especially since I like using the Datechochins from last year when I use warp lol. Was hoping for something new this year.

These are my findings, with me being the one on the left. I did all 7 race/gender combos and havent found any extra prize(there's one day off I wont be getting back ; . I tried testing the +atk cap on the chicken but am unable to find someone with high enough atk to cap it. If anyone can achieve higher than 410 atk(Without Berserk, Last Resort, Warcry. %based abilities dont apply to cap) please test for me? Include STR/ATK before and after eatting the food. Im sure the +def% of the crackers is just as high so I cant even begin to test that(PLD only 67)
