I just recently obtained a Denali Jacket (+10 agi and +9 R.attack) woot yay
and i have been using it for HNM on my cor instead of Blue Cote.
I know that +MaB effect quickdraw dmg, the day, gun/bullet dmg, staves, ect.
But what i really dont get is what AGI does for quickdraw. From what im told
no matter what the dmg is from the shot the strength of it on a debuff is the same.
Even if the dmg is 0.
Like i said i use cor in HNM mostly and i sub whm to help cure or blm to DD with
quickdraw. When subbing whm i use alot of +mp gear where i could be using +AGI.
I guess im just really concerned on what AGI does for quickdraw and if i have
enough of it for HNM and quickdraw in general.

Agi is used for Quick Draw Accuracy, or Less resistance. Think of it as Magic Accuracy. so Pretty much u'll be Seeing the same Dmg you want More often instead of half or less the Dmg your meant to get.

COR:AGI :: BLM:Elemental skill
That's the best analogy I can think of.
Magic attacks have a chance to be cut down to 50%, 25%, or 12% of their normal damage depending on the monster's level and elemental properties. Higher AGI will reduce this chance.
For Corsair, I suppose you could also consider it "enfeebling skill" when using Light and Dark Shot. I remember during the Imp levels, hitting my AGI macro allowed me to dispel Blaze Spikes reliably. If I neglected to do so, then Dark Shot would usually fail.

It's Quick Draw Accuracy. It reduces resists on Fire/Ice/Wind/Earth/Thunder/Water Shots, and icreases the chance of Light/Dark Shot landing.
Congrats on the Denali body.. One thing though - it seems like you either go full on back-up healing with /Whm, or absolutely none with /Blm.. Have you thought about /Rdm? It's a great blend of both, with some of it's own unique talents (Dispel, Fast Cast, Phalanx, etc).
Don't think AGI is not important just because MaB will give you bigger numbers. The main thing we're fighting against when it comes to Quick Drawing HNMs is the resist rate. Stack on as much AGI gear as possible, and if applicable your QD Accuracy merits will be big as well.

While we're on this subject, does anyone know conclusively if Magic Accuracy effects Quick Draw? Anyone have any evidence to confirm or deny or know a way to test?

I fired over 60 Wind Shots last night over the course of 3 Kirin fights (ran out of Wind Cards at the end
), and I'm almost positive now that Magic Accuracy does affect Quick Draw. I was landing around 1/5 shots unresisted without Warlock's Roll, but when I rolled a IV or XI on Warlock's (with RDM in party) I seemed to be landing around 3/4. Had +32 AGI from gear/food and only 1 QD accuracy merit.

I don't think tests have been done, but magic attack affects Quick Draw damage so it's a safe assumption that magic accuracy affects Quick Draw accuracy.

Test would be tough since COR can't equip very much, and the amount granted by Warlock's roll isn't clear either. But, educated guess is yes since it operates in the same way as a magic attack.

Wow, nice! If/when you get the whole set be sure to do some /check tests against mobs to see how much the Accuracy set bonus is.
I forgot to use Elemental Seal the one time I went to Kirin as COR/BLM. It should be pretty easy to test, though, even against a Too Weak mob. If Elemental Seal disappears when you fire your shot, I think it's pretty safe to assume that it worked to enhance it. If ES stays up, that means it did nothing.
Does Elemental Seal work on Quick Draw?

That might not necessarily work. You can use Elemental Seal with Paralyna and the ES icon will disappear. Someone could probably try Elemental Seal and Light Shot in Ballista though, Light Shot gets resisted like a bitch.
