laptop control issues

hey guys I just started playing on laptop cause of school no ps3 with me. I can't figure out how to bring up the menu that has status at top map at bottom and such I know its a stupid question. Also a general list of important buttons and commands would be helpful.. also I only have laptop no mouse controller etc. Thanks alot later

"Ctrl" + "-" to open up the menu.
