Ok yeah this might be whining, but I don't care. It is complete and utter crap that SE can't make Beseiged large enough to accomadate all players, who want to enter. Beseiged has become something that I've come to enjoy, but I guess if u dont get there way early your screwed. Thank You SE!

at peak time on fenrir server theres about 3000-4000 ppl signed on. if everyone went into even a lvl 8 beseiged it'd be a complete slaughter of a zerg rush so SE would have to make beseiged harder to accomodate. This would cause a bit of a problem since at the slowest time on fenrir theres only about 2000 people on.

as for people below lvl 60 who go try and help out, honestly, its your 12.95. theyre not going in with the intention to deny a lvl 75 one tenth of a merit point, theyre going in to have fun. as long as we keep winning, it shouldnt bother anyone. and even if we start losing, its a game, well get back the AC, probably within a game day knowing my server. (we had a triple besieged a few weeks back, and before the 2nd one was finished, the prisoners from the 1st battle were free.)

as for people at any lvl who go in and leech: GTFO, u don't do that in an exp pt w/ 5 other ppl and u sure as hell don't do that to 700 ppl. your reputation is the only thing u really have in this game and if you sacrifice your rep and become a leech just so u can get a few exp points then you are pathetic

actually they lowered the amount of people and capped it at 700 simply because people were getting connection issues all over the zone due to congestion. while it may be true that besieged is broken and has been from the start. SE is doing their best to make sure that it stays broken and that nobody can enjoy it.

yes no silver lining on this one

they need to make it so that if you are idle in besieged for like 15 minutes, you get kicked out of al zhabi and get thrown into whitegate to allow players who want to get in do so.

this will make besieged alot better i believe. I hate seeing the afk ppl dead sitting there for 1 hour

i like it. they don't let ppl clog up BC's when a party gets wiped, the bodies get taken out after 3 minutes, so theres no reason to let idle players keep ppl out.

they would have to also distinguish between idle and dead. i mean if someone dies while they're not in a party theres a good chance no one will see them to raise them. i wouldn't want someone to get kicked out just b/c of that. and if you're dead at the end of besieged i don't think you get any reward of exp or standing (not sure please correct me if i'm wrong), so leeches couldn't abuse the system by dying and staying dead.

I also really wish that there was some sort of promt to ask you if you want to participate or not when Besieged begins. Selecting the "No" option would bump you to Whitegate. Pretty much every single time one starts I see people demanding a D2 (which I don't understand. If you want out of the zone so badly just get yourself killed. It isn't that hard). These people clearly don't want to be here and can't zone out normally. And they're taking up space that could be used by someone who actually wants to be there.

They have plenty of time to get out before {Besieged} starts. Everyone in the Aht Urghan area will get a log message when the forces are advancing. Isn't that hard to get out before then.

Also about the prompt, if you have AFKers and Idle people {bazaar}s, chances are, they won't selet the prompt. So if that happens, there's got to be a time limit (like 5 seconds or 10 seconds) to choose "Yes" or "No" before it automatically kicks you out.

On my server though, I zoned in one time just to see what it was, and got in. Apparently my server (Phoenix) doesn't cap at the 700 max and we still slaughter Lv 8s in under 1 hr. (once in 20 minutes).

I'm 600 tnl 57 RDM, and I may not be able to tank or nuke, but I do help out by healing/raising/buffing people and enfeebling mobs.

I think as long as people actually participate and are working together, it shouldn't matter who gets in (i.e. had a lvl 51 in my alliance last night).

I wouldnt mind a "fireflies" like item that when used escapes you from besieged. Dying is an option but that only works if your homepoint is where you want to be. If you just used your leypoint ring and got into an active beseiged chances are your hp isnt in whitegate.

Like the peeps who put their bazaars in Al Zahbi (the hell?!)? *lol*

The prompt idea - didn't Square-Enix use to use something like that to catch botters? If the player didn't reply in a certain time period - *bink!*?

Maybe a system job-search that automatically boots out anyone less than Lv. 10 into Whitegate might help. In addition to the automated booting idea, a system that check the "inactive time" of a player (read: no /say, /tell, /linkshell, or /party is sent after a certain period of time), then they should get booted.
