I remember reading somewhere that if you have them the type of cardian won't argo you or something along those lines. Yeah but there are also cards for the aces and you only fight them in a BCNM.

What? FF7 was almost a carbon copy of FF6, only thing it lacked was win, because FF7 sucked. FF8 was very similar to FF4.
Elements of all the games are repeated throught the series. The story line is only different because it's in a different time/place and with different characters (mostly).
Parts of FF1 are already in CoP anyway. "Collecting" the light from the Crags was much like going to the 4 crystals in FF1. That opens the gate to the Zilart capital, in FF1 sent you to past, where you stop someone that would destroy everything, hi2u Chaos.
All it lacked was a paradox and WotG has too much room not to put a paradox in it >____>
I mostly just want the four fiends though... They kick ass.

stumbling sandles are for skilling up eva or guard (one of these)
the comet could be an [white]alexander[/white] blast.. if you know why you probably know the above points also;
star of tavnazia is magicite inside [white]prish[/white]...
the passwords for apparatus are a code, use your name, color and zone.. there are a couple of websites that will generate them for you
sky looks like it is somewhere physically on the map but it is floating above quifum, if it landed it would complete the island (which is just a sliver now)

Back alley of Ore Street in Bastok Mines. I know its the residential district for Galka and its accessible in Dynamis, but why not allowed access in "real time."-- train station?
Jeuno Consulates (it was rumored in the past that they were tied to country missions, but i haven't seen any proof of this.)-- this is like mission 3 of the home towns ...

The Windmills in Konschtat Highlands.-- the story was these were for flour or power (low level quests)

Yes if you are the main sleeper for the rank 10 fight its lovely to have @ least 3 of the cards as their agro range is obscene.

I would really like a more detailed history into the avatars like Leviathan, Shiva, Garuda and such. They aren't really mentioned much =x
I know most of them (If not all) are from ancient mythology, but is there a story for any of them in FFXI? It'd be nice to know. Some more background into Wyverns would be nice too.

Fenrir is tied up in in windy missions and CoP
Carbuncle is in smn quest, waking the beast, and CoP
Diablos is in CoP
Pheonix is in CoP (but is foreshadowed to having a larger story)
Bahamut is CoP
Odin and Alex are TaU
The 6 summonable celestials are here Vanadeil Tribune before it came out in english.

well there are wedding bands Drucifer castor and pollux rings can posibly serve as a possible "engagement" ring. or friendship rings as you can synth them into tradable rings
and if memory serves they were introduced the same time as the signed items

Ugh this one drives me nuts the game tells u AND SHOWS YOU PICS of sky being made in a lake north of ro'meave and the hall of the gods.

The last time Alexander was up and about before ToAU, and had his nice old battle with Odin, was before the Crystal Era started.
Their battle caused an explosion which cleared teh skys for a year.
The Comet and the star in the Alexander constillation are unrelated.
The Comet is also not what caused the "burnt" cliff side around Qufim. Got to the Hall of the Gods. Before you enter, look left to some cliffs, looks the same as the cliffs around Jeuno.
There is no Dark Protocrystal.
It you take the lump of crystalized Emptyness (sung to to wake Promathia and set off the whole CoP story line), to be a Protocrystal for Odin, why would it make a pact with lolGalka, when Odin already had a pact with Luzaf going and only cares about fighting Alexander?
The fact that Odin already had a pact proves that it couldn't have been his protocrystal. Unless you care to explain how Odin could be asleep in the Northen Lands and be in the Aht Urhgan area at the same time.

Not that Promathia gave the Shadow Lord power. That would work quite nicely into his involvement in activating Sky and bringing Promathia back to Vana'diel.
Odin is a dark God, from the begining CS I'd take Demons to be related to the Darkness the Crystal banished. Odin playing with them could explain why he summons them.
The Shadow Lord could summon them because, being as the Crystal was destroyed, the Darkness would not be held back (though the 5 Mother Crystals could, the Northen Land one did expload though. Weakening it?) so they could have given the Shadow Lord his power to cause chaos (hi final boss!). The demons took the girl to the crystalized emptyness to wake up Promathia, who in turn would try to end the world. Sounds like something Chaos would do. I highly doubt the Shadow Lords involvement in sending them to do that. Promathia, the Zilart, Odin (and in turn Alexander) and the Shadow Lord, have all therefore been puppets.

Sources: Aht urghan storyline regarding imps, PM 5-3 (All path cutscenes + Cids's commentary.) There's one discrepancy about a Mithra (Rabritah?) bringing a piece of dark magicite back to the mithran homeland, only to have sin hunters insist it be taken far away from them. I haven't logically figured out where this fits in yet. But anyways, Ulmia's path brings about the misconception it's supposed to be the magicite, but Louverance's path and his use of the Mimeo Mirror on Mathilde confirms there was a dark protocrystal up there and that Odin is most assuredly awake.

Theres a luck rune in the Yhutunga Jungle, forgot where. But what's that one for if the one in Tahrongi Canyon is for a quest? I think I last saw it in some drop in the jungle, I'll confirm later.
