You can go on a rather long unnamed multiple-cutscene thing with Mathilde in Selbina. It's kind of about the RoZ plot (her son is named Aldo, for instance), but it's unnamed and unrequired for anything. I always wondered if there was more to it than what I saw. I should maybe go back and check again now that I've finished RoZ. >.>

As for Tu'Lia and Delkfutt's Tower, you guys apparently haven't watched your Zilart Mission cutscenes in a long time. Go refresh your memories, there's a definite connection between the two. The first Promathia Mission cutscenes touch on it, too, as I recall.

Cardian Cards supposedly stop those Cardians from aggro'ing you. I've never tested it and it hardly explains what purpose the Aces (for instance) have, given the Ace Cardians only exist in BCNMs.

half of the Cut Scenes in RotZ i didnt get to read, either because the group would leave without me, start the BC and finish it w/o me, AND spam text in party chat.

i barely know what the hell is even going on in RotZ anymore.
and with the huge periods of time between CoP missions its hard to remember as well, but i do remember it better than RotZ. since only 1 BC have i had my PT spam shit in chat.

ZM8? A beam from Delfkutts shoots up to Tu'lia, activating it.
First couple of CoP, the energy stream from the crystilian core is going funny, becuase [white]Lion jumped into the crystal back in Tu'lia[/white].

I'd go out on a guess and say that the Zilart probably had a city built near and around Delfkutts. Upon getting the vision of paradise, the surrounding landscape was turned into Tu'lia via crystal synthesis. Leaving only the crecent shape of Qufim, which the central part of Tu'lia probably sat in. The Strange Apparatuses, according to the text you get when using them, are Matter Emulators (sp?), which I'd guess is an advanced form of crystal synthesis, so they probably had a role in the construction.

If you look at the painting of Tu'lia in (I think) the Temple of Uggly, there would seem to be alot of blue power crap coming from Tu'lia to the ground. Seeing as Delfkutts is right below Tu'lia (I'd imagen any way), it would be safe to say the blue crap tore the ground apart and Delfkutts was in the eye of the storm, thus safe?

Tu'Lia once rested just north of the Sanctuary of Zi'Tah and Ro'Maeve, in what appears to be some sort of lake. It was lifted from it's position there, and moved above Delkfutt's Tower, over Qufim Island. Tu'Lia was never a part of the planet itself, but was created on the ground, then lifted into the sky. He is the painting in Temple of Uggalepih, illustrating where Tu'Lia was located, and the "blue power" as water, resting around the capital itself. Just below the city, one is able to make out Ro'Maeve and the Hall of Gods.



As for the immense crater at which Qufim Island rests within the center of, I had made a theoretical post about it on KI a while ago, to which the consensus was that since the portal to Al'Taieu rests just above the sea west of Qufim, that Al'Taieu was ripped from or sunken below that crater, the crystallized matter and sheered earth left as a result. I'll try to find the link for that post.

As for those two Orcs, that's amazing. I never knew they even existed, though I know of their origins. Both of those Orcs were subordinates under Vatgit. Fogweaver: "A Black Mage who serves as an officer under Vatgit. Using the mist to his advantage, he sneaks up behind enemy troops and blasts them with his Black Magic. Thus, he earned the nickname “Fogweaver.”

And Bloody Vrukwuk: "Though he proudly claims to be unmatched in skill, he chronically falls ill when it’s time for battle. His habit of using enemy blood as makeup earned him his nickname."

Actually, there was an interview a while back with SE, and they said they actually add some things that have no use because maybe later on they'll become useful. For instance, the useless scenic tours on the Bibiki Bay Manaclipper, or if you check your map while on the Carpenter Landing ferry you'll see there are other exits to the river that aren't in use.

I saw all of the CSs that implied everything in that link but nothing was explicitly stated and it left, to take the CoP mission's title that she's involved in, "More Questions than Answers." Spoilers: [white]Who is little Aldo's dad? Why hasn't Aldo reunited with his sister? He's the leader of the Tenshudo, he has to know she's around. I mean, she was in the opening CS of the game for Crissakes, there should be some kind of story about her! All we know is that she got partial amnesia and knocked up at some point in time between the opening CS and the game time. I mean, is little-Aldo part Orc? Kinky >.>~! Sprin-ger, Sprin-ger![/white]

Sad thing is, I doubt a lot of these passages, such as the one in Norg and Kazham, will be used any time soon. I can't imagine that they're going to have multiple entrance places for the next expansion, or that they'd put them in such annoying areas.

PS. The caves in those zones exist to kill me because gobs hide in them. Those bastids. Also, Blubbery Bulge exists to guard the PLD flag quest from noobs who want to have shields and swords. They need to make him a level 90 True Sound HNM that drops 8 slime oils when he dies. It'll both protect us from noob tanks and give those with the persistance to get past him a nice feeling of what the next 75 levels of PLD will feel like (death, death, and more death!)

The indentations in bastok are from the train that they opted to take out at the last minute. You can see the train station and tracks still around port bastok they were supposed to take you through north/south gusta into the chocobo woods? or something like that.
