Despite my best efforts, I can't seem to start a race with my Chocobo. I must of misread the part that said "You wont be able to race your chocobos" or something. I also thought i read something about letting us manually race our chocobos but we wont be able to place bets on those races. So whats going on? Are we able to race or aren't we?

I think some people may have gotten the impression that you could manually race, but it's the "auto-race like the regular races were. Which, one can see if you think about it. Otherwise you can race them. XD Dunno about the race/betting while your chocobo is in the race though lol

I could swear i heard something, Ohwell. Can you tell me how to race? I gave them my VCS card and it registered my chocobo (A long time ago) and they keep saying i can race any time, but when i go to sign up for a race they say im not eligible to race...

Edit: Please, someone help me? How do i get my chocobo into a race. I dont mean the solo races at the home towns.

You have to have 10 chocobucks as part of the entrance fee. It's pretty retarded that the npc doesn't tell you that lol. Betting requires you to pick 2 birds. If they aren't BOTH in the top 2 you don't get anything. You are allowed to bet on a race that your choco is in and the reward for 1st place is 12700g, 10 chocbucks, and 3 solo points. That helps alot, another reason why i wanted to know so bad was because I'm amentor and ive had alot of people ask me (And ive had ALOT of people ignore me), and yes, that is stupid how they did not mention that -.-

Yeah. I was kinda mad They didn't announced that the entrance fee was in Chocobucks. They didn't have to tell me how much, just that's what currency they wanted.
