If only one other bet on the same, it goes to the half amount.



My first bet was on the 6 race on my server and i won 4630gil xD
My chocobo was second place at the same race (i forgot to equip an food) and i got another 5700gil, 5 chocobucks and 2 Solo Victory Points^^

The maximum you can win per ticket is 49,950,000. However, nothing stops you from buying 2 identical tickets for 1-8, putting 999 quill on them, and then (assuming everything works out perfect) turning the 2 tickets in for 99,900,000. You could buy more than two identical tickets, however your character would be maxed out in gil after only two and you'd have to go blow some gil before you collect the rest of the tickets. The chances of this happening though are probably slim to none.

As for winnings and loosings, I've currently won a total of about 300,000 from the Chocobo Races. I bought a Potent Belt for 150,000 and then spent another 40k on the races -- winning nothing. So, I'm hanging up my betting for the day and wishing for the same luck tomorrow.

I have spent about 400k in past week and won roughly 180k, so i am only 220k in hole. I really wish i would have raced my choco more before so i could figure out which items and stats win the most >.>
