Ok I see there are food recipes that allow you to summon Familars for BST? Hows that work? You use the food then you have a monster to fight by your side? Do you have to be a certain level for it? Any information would be greatly appriaciated.

1)At level 23 Bst get the Ability to use Call Beast
2)You equip a broth jug that lets you summon a Familiar. You use Call Bst. The Familiar is summoned.
3) You treat the familiar like a normal mob (Except they are a little weaker and are usually slaughtered quickly if you don't help). I only use them in emergencies(which playing as a Bst you will find happen very frequently).

EEK! i'm a blm fourty something, about to hit 50 with the intentions of being a summoner (once i can defeat all the avatars) but bst sounds so much funner!
it sounds like all those times, when you're in a PT and your puller accidentally get's a link, and now there are two IT mobs for your PT to fight... and by some freak accident you manage to take out both mobs. you get this satisfaction afterwards
and that's what bst sounds like to me... FUN!!!
on this topic, not to bash on J players, but they're so cautious that it seems like the game would be so robotic to me to play like them, i would just quit. i like getting mob chain, and barely making it out with escape or defeating 2 IT mobs, or even dying sometimes... hehe
soon as SMN get's boring i'm switching to BST, plus BST AF is adorable on a taru

Robotic? O_o;; I though it was more fun before the NA ppl came around... I won't bitch and moan here, but we are not robotic!! >.< We have fun our own ways... Like long walks on the beach, smelling the sakura blosoms, Butt in the moonbeam walks, looking at girls in Kimono's... See ^^ We have alot of fun things we do on ... um, what was I talking about? Wooo, shiney!!
Anywho ^^;; Hrm, I don't quite know what you are talking about keekee, how does pulling to IT's and living have anything to do with a BST? The chance of them taiming a IT is very low, and you don't keep it for long, so it turns on the PT and makes you kill it for 0 exp because it was tamed...
But if you are saying calling a beast would help you kill the second IT, yeah it might, you are correct. But it would lessen the amount of EXP you got for the kills, soooo, personally I would rather chain to of them correctly and not have to have such a long downtime and not loose out on the EXP by having to bring out a pet in a PT....
*shrug* Just me thou...
