because i have sorcerer's gloves and i've noticed if you go overboard with dark magic skill like that, your aspirs and drains are actually worse. not to mention my inventory is like 52/60 with all my gear

Any amount of fast cast added to your Stun is invaluable, you must not be a very good stunner to not realize this?

I'm good enough to know that if you need to rely on 2% Fast Cast to Stun the TP move/spells in this game that are Stun-able then you suck at Stunning in the first place. Buying a Warlock's Mantle for Stun and carrying it around is a complete waste of 1. money and 2. inventory space. The recast time decrease is just as pathetic. Warlock's Mantle doesn't make you a better Stunner.

You don't have to study anything to have a basic comprehension of the BLM damage formula. Not knowing that MAB isn't a direct % increase and Sorcerer's Tonban is is just ignorance, which is why I said I don't think you deserve a desirable item like Zenith Mitts +1. But that's just me. I'd totally take a warlock's mantle over +5 dark magic on my drains, and aspirs.

Yeah, if you use it in conjunction with Loquacious Earring you can take a WHOLE SECOND off your recast time! How awesome is that? Not. +5 Dark Magic Skill will do more for you than a negligible about of Fast Cast. Of course ideally you'd use both pieces of equipment, but when it comes to what back piece your spell should actually go off in Merciful Cape wins out in my opinion.

Hmm... Something about sucking that last 1% HP from a mob as fast as possible seems kind of useful to me.

If having your Drain go off 2% faster is the difference between life and death then you have bigger problems to worry about.

I also macro it with my enfeeble set for now - why? Because Sleep going off faster, no matter HOW negligable can save your life, every millisecond counts especially when soloing.

And guess what? Sleep actually landing can save your life too! The 2% Fast Cast will be a deciding factor in one in a million scenarios.

go ask the rdms about magic acc, they had the stat first and delt with it the longest. unless something changed that i dont know about magic acc is a stupid stat to deal with just like your fast cast for blm.

Kinesis, you know that Haste ONLY helps on recasts right? so all that petty +%Haste gear you wear while casting Sleep does nothing if you need an actual Quick sleep. Get a fucking Loquacious if you want quick enfeebling or GTFO. On your setup you're trying to prove the point that Warlock's mantle is worth whilst Loquacious would be in use instead of that useless Moldavite and still you could wear 4INT or 5 Enfeebling magic skill on your back.

What you need all that space for? LightLuggage solved any possible problem I had with inventory.

When you're sleeping in dynamis anrin obi and pluto's staff do great, dont have to worry about the back.

When I'm soloing out in the field - good to have fast cast in case sh1t hits the fan

cuz i keep it simple i dont bloat myself with overkill dark magic skill gear, sorc gloves, igqira huaraches, and a good amount of int + magic accuracy from my two nashira pieces + anrin obi and pluto's does absolutely fine. i use to carry dark torque, dark earring, and wizard's tonban and when i used these items with my dark magic swap i noticed i actually got resisted more and aspir'd for less believe it or not
