Couple notes since I haven't looked at thread in a while.

No, I didn't go 5/5 route. 3 Accuracy, 5 Attack, 2 Magical Attack

Now that I'm only 12 away from highest possible SMN magic, debating dropping another accuracy for another Magical Attack. Hoping to hit that wonderful SMN magic cap in the next couple of months. (If fucking Perytons or Gate Widows get off their ass and drop some pants I'll be +5 higher)


And if we get to choose, I choose CMs involvment to be zero. But since CM like New York cockroach, that won't happen.

Tyrone's TH was what got me my YYR but it was TH3 when i got it before the TK patch lol

Well, no...

For some reason the game glitched and when it should've dropped into my inventory... it vanished. No _____ obtains the Yinyang Robe. Nothing.

Been talking to a GM for like 45 minutes now about it, but they won't give it to me because they said it wasn't in my inventory and refuse to check the logs to see what happened to it.

Wth? That's complete bullshit. The only time something completely vanishes is when everybody passes, and since this isn't the case (I hope you didn't make that mistake), it's an obvious problem which the GM should at least investigate. Good luck man!!!

Recent accomplishment: nothing much, lol. I picked up a Serket's Ring, giving me 1159 MP . All I need now is a Vulcan's Staff and HHB and I'm set for AH items.

That really sucks Alesandir, not only cause you got screwed out of your hard earned YY robe, but also the fact that you obviously got a total douchebag of a GM. I've seen a few people get glitched in the same way you did, called a GM up, and within 15 minutes of the call they received the item in question. All I can say is good luck during your next attempt and hopefully if it drops again, it'll actually go to you.

That's really odd indeed.

I've heard of things like that happening more often, it drops gets lotted the rest of the drops drop but that one specific drop just randomly vanishes into the eternal datafields.
The drop is there, everyone seen it but there's...
no obtains a ...
no You do not meet the requirements to obtain ...
Nothing but "poof".
Really something the Dev. team should investigate..

Sucks the GMs weren't very helpful...

ok, before last weekend, I've tried getting that {Bio}tch of an Avatar Diabolos 5 times with pickup parties, always failing. A guy in my limbus shell, Rikuide, decides to put a run together, the set up is blm, blu(me), blu, drk, war, nin. We tried it about 4 times with that set up, failing miserably each time. We didnt know that on certain days Diabolos has insta-cast spells. /joy we tried setting up a stun order for nightmare, but it was too fast.

so I go change to Rdm/drk for CS stun, we try again about 6-7 times(we all lost count) everytime he's close to the point where CS stun would matter, {Nightmare}! yaaaay! the 2nd to last time, as soon as the chainspell animation goes off, he hits us with Nightmare again.. failed again.

We agreed that this is our last run. Time to go all out on him! We fight him one more time, CS is down, and people are dying. We got him down to 1%, I'm low on MP, and I'm throwing everything I have at him, Aero II, Fire, Thunder... the 5th member goes down, as he falls I throw a Bio II onto Diabolos, then I fall. The leader, Rikuide, HP's. Were all waiting....waiting, about 2 minute later Diabolos folds his wings in defeat! WE WON!

I did Diabolos to help my friends in my social the other night. I finally got them to listen to me for set up, and when we went in fresh (we failed with my set up without 2hrs.) we won 1/1 going in fresh. Set up was NIN/WAR RDM/DRK BST/NIN BLM/WHM BRD/WHM and I came WAR/DRG. We got Diabolos to 50% through regualar fighting, then we cut loose with CS stun, and I annihalated Diabolos. I did a 300% Berserk, Aggressor, Warcry, Warrior's Charge, Mighty Strikes, Soul Voiced Double Minuet Steel Cyclone. Did 2120 damage with it. I'll post a pic of the damage so it doesn't look like I'm blowing steam lol. Followed that up with an Icarus Wing and Steel Cyclone for 860. Diabolos went 53% > 21% > 11%(other people getting off WSes and spells) > 0%. Even if I hadn't finished him, I still had the Jumps left to do it XD

I am making believers out of my ability now. I was previously 3/3 on the robe, going each time as 59blm/16thf. As of a couple days ago, that is now 4/4. None of the robes were to be mine! Actally, one was but... due to some twisted circumstance. Well, the very first one that dropped was supposed to go to someone else but they were afk outside the zone, so no way we could get it to her and we weren't gonna hold the mob. So... since she never came back, it went to me - but damn did I feel bad about it, up ill the point she said I deserved it anyway. We did get hers a couple days later and well, now 2 more after that. :3

Not a bad Flaming Crush bud. Mine is only around... like 4k =/ I dunno if I've said this, but you can get some nice Flaming Crushes against the Buffalo in Limbus and stuff. I think you can get some good ones against the Ulegrande Range ones as well, I just havn't been willing to try. But I nearly always land about 1.5k on the Limbus ones.

i hit 70 on smn about 2 days ago and boy is it fun.

my highest predator claws so far is 1927 and i did one for 1337 dmg too lol both of these are on colibri so theyre dc mostly.
