When i received my pld body af1+1, i didn't expect to have my second piece really fast, so i erased my memory, thinking i was gonna erase it again after i received my second piece, the feet. So i did all the quests again and got my body back.

2 weeks ago, i received my last item for my pld feet af1+1, so i went to erase my memory of artifact quest again ... but i was not able to. I only had the choice between ninja and red mage quest, but pld wasn't there...

I tried to check if all my previous artifact quest were done, i went to all the npc involve in pld artifact quest, i wait for tallying if it would change... but after all that, nothing changed, i can't erase my memory of pld artifact quest.

Does it mean you can only erase once your memory for each artifact quest ? I hope not... it would be so stupid!

u have to finish all artifact quests(including coffers) for that job before you can erase your memory is my understanding of the quest. Other then that I don't know what else it could be.

I have to drop all my coffer af and farm them again ? so i will be ok to erase again my memory?


I didn't drop last time all my af, only my feet and the honour sword, so only those involved in the artifact quest ...


Thats the reason why i doubt about your suggestion, but if i see no other way to get my feet back, i will try this, thank

there's another quest piece if those are the only 2 things you dropped. What about the gloves? I looked it up but coffer armor is ok to hold on to but it sounds like you need to drop the gloves.

I tried what you suggest Ejc, it looked like the solution ...

So i drop it, and got those hands back ... but still can't erase my memory from Vinjijard.

And yes Xellith, if i knew it would cause all that trouble i would have upgrade my feet first...

I'm confused. You can't be holding any quested af armor in order for him to be able to erase your memory. Are you holding any quested af for pld?

Sharpening the Sword, A Boy's Dream, Under Oath and now Borghertz's Stalwart Hands, all are in my completed quest ... i really don't understand why i can't erase my memory again on my pld Artifact.

But i still have in my inventory my Body, my new hands and af1 weapon... i didn't drop them because last time i erase my memory i didn't need to drop all them before erasing memory but only when i was going to activate the quest needed.

I don't think so ... because when i speak to Vinjijard i can erase memory of other af ... but paladin artifact isn't in that choice.

You don't think so? Did you start any other jobs af quests and have yet to finish them? It has nothing to do with the NPC that erases your memory as to why he can't erase it. If you started another jobs af quests and not finish them then it's not going to give u the option to erase.

If i want, i can erase all other af quest done except the pld one. The choice isn't there anymore like it was before.

And no, i didn't begin any other quest for others jobs. To be sure i already look at all my current quests and no one corresponding to an af quest.

So... i am confused as you are. :con

Edit : I finally got all my af back, including ALL coffer item. And after that, i was able to erase again my memory. So i am just warning anyone who want to do his af again, don't do the same mistake as i did and wait to get all the af1+1 you wish.

I recently upgraded my BST AF pants to AF1+1. My BST AF pants is obtained from quest. I have yet to toss any other AF yet. Would appreciate if you could advise me on what I should do as I'm afraid I didn't get the correct information off this thread. I also tried searching this topic before but it didn't help.

From my understanding, we could retain all coffers AFs and we would need to toss AF1 weapon, AF2, AF3 and gloves before paying 10k gils to npc to erase memory? Really appreciate your pointers.
