I wonder.
I think either New City or Sandy
But i think that we not thinking enough about what it means that Dancer got added as a job.
I mean Blue Mage Cor and even Pup reflect well on the expansion.
But Dancer....This actually ( espeially because or trailer) made me think there will be 3 jobs one per city.
Dancer/A geomancer job would totally stem from Sandoria..so
What city Dancer Quest be in?

In trailer we see a Dancer performing in a Sand'Orian tavern, but the dancers are all hume. So i think Dancer quest will be either in the Sand'Oria of the past or Bastok of the past. Most probably not in windurst.

I'm gonna go with what the other people are saying, and say San d'Oria, because of the trailer footage.

Sandoria I'm guessing since it's the only town with an actual area to perform on besides Jueno's is small.

I think that maybe the job quests will start in the present cities, and require you to go to the past. Like maybe you go to the tavern in sandy in the present, and someone will mention that there used to be great dancers that danced in the tavern but that was long ago. Then maybe you go to the past and find a dancer NPC in the tavern and do the quest from there.

I'm going to guess San d'Oria, they seem to appreciate grace and beauty and such, which dancing encompasses.
I'm also guessing that Dancer in the trailer is part of the cut scene, possibly the quest giver. That'll be the first place I check when the expansion comes out.

Pittsburgh, of course.
And the quest will be called "Slashdance... What a Feeling"
(It was such an obvious joke - I just HAD to say it.)

Chances are we'll know where the quest is before the expansion comes out. The quests for the jobs for ToAU were released in the .dats the update before the release. You couldn't access any of the content until ToAU came out but people knew what the quests were and where they were located.

Ah, alright. I quit and came back only a few days after ToAU release, so I didn't know about that.

Everyone says San d'Oria, so I say Windurst! Why? I believe Windurst makes the most sense.
PUP's starter NPC was in Bastok, and that made sense, seeing as Bastok is the technological superpower of the world and such. I think Mr. PUP was trying to show off his automaton, as it were.
Just look at Windurst! It's full of spiritualism and seems altogether more in-tune with nature, something I would definitely associate with dancing. I would think the Elvaan way too proud and stuck-up to "lower" themselves to frollicking around like maniacs.

I think they'll make the city you see in blueblade fell(final c/s in cop, and the opening city in the video) our new main city.
Perhaps it'll be there.

Tavnazia would be awesome...after Promothia missions finished you don't ever really go back there for a reason other than "The ring is a free warp"

I'm hoping that Old Tavnazia will play a huge role in this expansion. Doing all the missions and hearing about it made me really wish it was still around because it sounded cool. Basically a counterpart to San d'Oria. Who knows though, but I wouldn't go by what you get off a trailer because those tend to just show you the basics of what to expect.
