I've been looking around to find information on AV, it seems there is only speculation, and not much to date. I have found even less info. on AV post his "fix" update. Has anyone recently tried AV even for fun? Share your experience, what worked (even if for just a little) what didn't?

It seems most speculation points out the need to use sea gear to defeat him. I have recently been playing around with the blm AF2 legs and elemental obis (the ones from organ farming in sea). Needless to say this combination has been devesating on sea mobs/gods, sky gods (minus Kirin, because I haven't gotten to check yet), and NMs from beseiged. Are there any blms out there that have tried Sorcerer's Tonban + elemental obis combo on AV?

I still say Jailer weapons would work on AV... But I think you need to do something in order for them to kick in. Like use a WS that's the same element of the current day or something dumb like that.

I know jailer weapons have been brought up a lot, but I don't know if anyone here has tried to WS them.

Many theories and ideas have been tested and have all failed when AV goes meteor happy and rapes everyone. Why not just sit back, be patient and wait for the Fan festival in CA... It was announced that the Programmers are going to fight AV and finally reveal how to defeat him... Personally I want to see them fight it and wipe.
