I have a personal Darwin moment. About 5 times I have walked out of the zone after a BCNM without lotting. 3 of the times loosing lots of $$$$ haha.
Last time I did it, I won Utsusemi: Ni, everyone passed, I gave a /p wOOt! and ran out of zone and lost it. ;(

On a random note. Second last Ks run I did was with some horrible players... We did a copycat run had 4 friends and 2 pick ups. One was this ninja in awesome gear, but either
was just borrowing the account or bought it. Either way he sucked BAD and the other player was a rdm, which was using full af and well pretty much no mp gear.
We won the stuiped ninja's round and then we lost my friends 2 because the other people sucked. Ninja would not voke, attacked the mob when slept etc.
So I traded my orb went in, I got charmed and next up was the ninja. As soon as he got charmed I locked on him and killed him, then later the rdm got charmed pretty much after
he converted. so i hit him 1-2 times and killed him and we lost. Was the best Ks run ever... Of course the guys I killed left screaming blist etc.

I've done the same thing at BCNM's a few times and lost quite some gil from it.
Also when I'm standing outside South Sandy MH and wanna get to Whitegate I keep using a Warp Cudgel then realize my HP is in front of South Sandy MH.. I've done that one too many times.

A DRK in my LS was meleeing Nidhogg with KClub a while ago.

I had a meripo at Caedarva Soulflayer camp with a guy called Dantess once when I was set with my friends BRD. The WAR in my party linked a Flayer while we were fighting an Imp and a few of the melee were getting owned, so the BRD successfully sleeps the Soulflayer (until a melee attacks it) and the RDM (Dantess) who had Bio on was running around for no apparent reason when he should have stayed the fuck still and cured himself & everyone else. Half the party wipes, the rest zone. Que the RDM blaming the BRD for his death, regardless of the fact that if he had suddenly decided to stop being a moron at that point and cured himself he probably would have survived. Apparently everyone died because the BRD didn't have "enough CHR equipment" and that "he was a noob".

In my last HNMLS we were pulling the boss for Dynamis-Jeuno, pull failed and there were about 50 mobs in front of the palace. Suddenly Kaita (NIN, one of the leaders) yells "Ok guys! I'm going in get ready." He uses a Sneak Oil, Prism Powder and then Powder Boots for flee. The mobs rape him and he says "Huh? What happened?" and thus everyone just spent the rest of the Dynamis laughing at him. Good times.

I had a darwin moment a few weeks ago with you Soupbowl.

I jumped in a KS run with you and your crew (I forget which one.) I had just gotten home from the bar and was looking for something to do. (Lynchilles: 75 Monk)

Well, I think I was more intoxicated than I gave myself credit for. (Plus I think I took a pain-killer too when I got home at some point..)

We went in, and I forgot to take off my auto-attack and started killing the wrong mob. I ended up getting everyone killed. Afterwards I re-raised, I was waiting for one of you to come back (I think he HP'd to come raise us). I closed my eyes for just a moment...

...and next thing I know, it was 7:00am on Sunday morning.

Sorry again for wasting your seals and getting ya'll killed. I swear I'm not usually that dumb. I just gotta remember to stop playing when I get really hammered >.<

So let this be a lesson to everyone, if I volunteer to help you with something anytime after 9:00 pm at night, its best to issue me some type of "virtual sobriety test."

Today, I'd like to introduce Tuvae to you guys:



Member of a crappy party I had the pleasure of joining. The leader wanted us to camp at the leypoint even though there were 2 parties there already. The other members weren't that stellar either, 'cept for a quite good DRG (not Tuvae obviously). Well, thanks to the lack of mobs and his awesome 95 dmg Penta Thrusts, we never went past chain #1, which led the NIN to just hop on a chocobo, disband and run away without saying anything.

When I tried to get a hold of the situation and try to get us some exp, this happens:



Which led me to disband, log off and lose another bit of faith in humanity.

Keep your eyes open, 'cause a candidate for the Darwin Awards might be somewhere around you!

My first day back and I have an encounter with this guy:



I was just happily smashing Orc faces just outside Ghelsba Outpost for the Orcish Axe to complete the Sand'Oria missions and this guy comes along, links all the mobs in the area and then drags them back to his friend; the level 30 Warrior inspiring to be a Dark Knight. I continue killing my current mob when he replies with the first sentence "no! dark knight quest!" and being considerate enough to leave them be; I run off into Ghelsba to continue my Axe hunt.

A few minutes later the same guy runs right next to me and takes all the mobs in the zone again while I'm fighting an Orc and the rest of the conversation takes place after I start picking out random Orc's with Dia because he's a douche. This guys gear is average at most and so the "respect my authoritah" comment almost made me wet myself.

Edit: I realize this belongs in the asshats thread but he's still enough of a tool for it to be somewhat relevant here.

Giddeus would be a better place to go for the 100 mobs. That's more profitable due to the yag necklaces (and for Norg fame)... That's Darwin enough as it is.

Had a group with him in Valkrum earlier and he was a complete and utter spacker downs kid, refused to pull Pug's because they were 'too high' but pulled Goblins instead, rested every fight while at full HP until his TP was reduced to 0, kept Provoking off of the PL but never did so at the start. When I told him not to do those things he replied with "It's my job, I not take your advice OK". Thus I left the group and he started speaking Spanish/Italian/Whatever in my tell until I added him to Black List.
