Does anyone know of a way to change your character name? Ive heard that if you erase your character creat a new one with the same name and get in touch with SE to recover the character you deleted that youll have to change the character name. How true this is im not sure I hade a friend that did it on Alexander. If there alternate ways to do it or if that way will truly work I would be interested in doing it. Any info will be much apreciated. Thx ahead of time!

I dunno, I doubt SE would want a lot of people doing that. I'm sure they'd let you transfer the stuff over if your character name was inappropriate or something, but in most other cases, I highly doubt it. <_<

I think you're kind of stuck with it, but I'd contact SE if you cared enough to know for realz.

No idea, but I was thinking about the yesterday (for some reason, not that I play anymore).
Umm, you could tell them that you just found out that your name is an offensive word in some language...

there is 2 ways to change your name, with a maybe third.

yes what the op said is true that happed to a friend of mine that used the return to vandel, though ti was not intendinal.

downside: you run the risk of loosing your chr, recovery is not 100%

the second is to use the move thing.

once you move your chr, make a new chr on the server you want to go to with the same name.
downside is the 3 month wait, no risks.

the thried is yeah you can try to tell a GM or get a friend to tell a GM that they find your name offensive in some way but im not sure how well that work.

downside: unrealiable, be hard to convince a GM that a non-offensive name is offensive.
