I was just wondering how well a Sam with a K Club with Store TP/acc setup and a relic bow would do spamming it..

Awful?

Soboro >> Kclub.

Also that would only be good for 1 single camp/situation which is nyzul isle exp. every other situation Sam/war will be better.

Idk, with that update, if our dmg goes down and that new rng ability is any good, /rng may come back a bit.

Good point.

But the advantages of relic bow is giving a strong/accurate WS while letting you sub /war to enhance it's damage and your DoT from GK.

berserk adds to ranged dmg as well iirc, so sam/war soboro and relic bow would be ideal. youd have to have capped archery merits to make it work, and ideally windower macros.

Isn't it just kind of haguns gekko vs namas and soboro DoT vs hagun DoT? I'd think soboro out damages hagun without counting weapon skills, and namas would outdamage gekko on just about everything, wouldn't you think so too?

Namas Arrow really isn't very strong. A Yoichi RNG friend of mine averaged ~1.2k at Nyzul, and Rangers have quite a bit more Rattk. than Samurai do.

Plausible I'm sure, but you'd still be 100% better off with an Amano.

Namas is not strong but at the rate a sam/war can fire them and with the offensive and defensive abilities of sam is a very powerfull tool. Like I said it's very situational, other then mire and nyzul is not a very impressive combo.

Namas' strength comes from the fact that it have very little enmity.

Not sure if this is relevant at all, but if we are talking about raw damage, I'm not sure if Namas is the WS you want to use.

God I hope so. As a /WAR, I simply berserk when it's up, meditate when it's up, and unless there's a Light/Dark sc, I ws when I have 100% tp. It's almost not worth it to wait for other Melee when I could have WS'd twice by the time they get TP.

At least /RNG would put a bit of strategy back into it.

Of course, of course, the utility of a moderately damaging weapon skill with little to no enmity attached is very nice, my comment was more in regards to HNM's comments about Yuki/Gekko/Kasha vs. Namas.

But, as I said, I still believe that in any situation conceivable, a Samurai will always be better off with an Amanomurakumo. <_>;

Namas Arrow produces little to no emnity, regardless of how much damage it does. Not a hate-reset per se, but, handy none the less.

Just to reiterate, Namas is at least enmity reduction. A SAM in my LS with it (Muteki) would open fights with 1-1.6k Namas on exp mobs and never pull hate off the initial Provoke.

Never heard of hateless WS on bow only on gun, but if it seems it's hateless then it's hateless xD
