I have been camping ES for a little while now on War to get the bow. I have yet to see the thing drop! I'm about 04 and wondering what other people went on it before the obtained Vbow?

i have yet to camp this mofo cuz atm my shigeta +1 with my gear setup is putting out some good dmg as is, however im starting to want it lol. what is camping it like? ToD's, rmt in area, competition, drop rate, etc? any info is appreciated.

I think I can give you guys some good info on this considering i went 1/40+ on this thing, I was camping wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy before it was ra/ex. This NM is a 16-24hr pop "DO NOT LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE"!!!!! I know this for sure because out of all the times ive camped him he has popped on the 16th hr mark. Now for competition it all depends if other people get tod or have it. I would tell you this, If you have tod keep it to yourself and once the NM pops pull it away from his pop area, theres a room close by with a door, I usally like pulling it there if no ones around this way no one can get tod. As for rmts,they dont camp it anymore considering its ra/ex now. I really lucked out on this nm, my server is well known for ppl who bot and for rmt bots. I had to camp against alot of army lses only to lose to there bots <.<. Same goes for rmts. The day i got my vbow i had help from a random rng who was there for it too. I was down below watching rmts wipe to CC and he got claim and died. I went back up got the nm, but as i was fighting it the rng told me not to weapon skill because it "supposedly" kills the drop rate. So I didnt weapon skill at all, and when I finally killed it, the damn bow dropped....... Now im not sure how true this is but hell it worked for me so it might work for you. On a few other notes, if u want claim i suggest you sub /war or bst, or something that can claim it fast. If I forget anything I'll make sure to add it later. O and one last thing, I killed this thing about 90% of the time with TH3. GL to everyone.

I found that he pops RIGHT BEFORE maintenance starts...
Has anyone else noticed this? Every time I saw maintenance coming I would jet over there and he would pop about 5 minutes servers went down. This happened every time I was there. went 1/5

Not trying to start shit but you don't know for fact that it is 16-24 hr. The NM is a 16-32 hr pop and many people that have camped this NM before can attest to it going far over the 24hr mark so I'm afraid you're wrong there. You may have just been very lucky all the times you seen it pop before the 24 hr mark.

I'm 1/3 on this NM now. Competition really wasn't much and coming from the so called most "crowded" server I was shocked. I think the trick to get this drop is the consistanecy of claims. If you're only claiming once in a while then I think it may be harder to obtain. If you're gonna camp him then make sure you camp him steadily. I claimed 3 times in a row and wasn't hard as Rdm/War. This past maintenance ended during a full moon and I got the drop that day. I do believe that TH will make a difference but not all that big of a difference. I killed him once with TH3 and didn't get drop. I know he has a pain in the ass of a window but the drop is well worth it. Best thing to do while camping him, there are 2 specters in the room his PH is the ranger form. Kill that one then wait a few min before you kill the other one. I almost lost claim once because the other camper had killed one specter the same time I killed the PH, so when he spawned I targeted the wrong one briefly, took me an extra sec to target the other and thank god the other guy was even slower.

Well maybe I shouldn't have worded it the way I did, so I ll just say this, after last TOD his window will open up after 16hrs from his last death. I know this because of all the times I've killed (about40+) he has never popped sooner then 16hrs from last tod, but for me window has never gone longer then 26hrs, but i rounded down a bit because ive had alot of times where he popped on the 24th hr. And I'm not trying to start shit but you dont know for a fact its longest window is 32hrs. And the many ppl that have atested to me have never claimed it going over 30hrs so I'm afraid you're wrong there. I do know one thing for sure though, his window will open up @ 16hrs from last tod.

poped it in 2 hours when I noticed noone was in Fey'in for a while
returned 18 hours later, and he popped again 4 hours later

I had horrible luck with ES drop rate even with TH on occasion. I lived in Fei'Yin for a month. I was 1/30 approx. and luckily a rdm let me lot with him when bow actually dropped, otherwise Id probably still be there.(Thanks buddy) Claiming wasnt an issue with SB unless a rdm was there. I did miss one claim from being afk and the bow dropped -.- go figure.

Also, he did pop for me at 30 hr mark once and at 16 hr mark once. His general time for pop for me was 20-22 hr. I've never heard of not using ws for better rate but if that works wish i would have known

I read wait time is anywhere from 12-36hrs.

You'll have a better chance of getting the bow from Nyuzl.
My Nyuzl group went 2/5 (1/3 one day, 1/2 the day after)
